I've come across a guy called "nullius" with a shit tonne of merits more than anyone excluding theymos. Then I started digging because I'm good at it and I finally got to the level where I found "nullius" is something else, something that we don't see around here so easily because it appears he has a strong cryptographic background... So, who the hell is this guy? Is he the founder or what? LOL

I wish I were him but you know sometimes we have to accept our destiny and try to reshape it over time.

I used to think he was an alt account for someone well known here, but now I'm not so sure. There used to be some patterns in merits sent and received and threads he would frequent, but that correlation has faded in recent days.

Anyway, this thread gave me a great idea --- we should spend more time celebrating and praising the knowledgeable members among us!

My attention span is severely impaired, and I will confess that I've mainly skimmed Nullius's posts, but from what I've read I have to say the dude knows how to write.  He certainly deserves the merits he's earned

I guess there is no real newbie can write such high qualitied, constructive posts like nullius. Especially, high-qualitied posts in-a-row like this guy. Newbie can sometimes write such a good post, not always.

Furthermore, nullius seems to focus on technical issues, which extremely difficult with newcomers in crypto-world.
I don't care about the fact that this account is alt of someone, this account simply strongly demonstrate the fact that new account can get dozens of merits when can contribute to the forum and community with innovative, helpful threads.

I thought maybe he was someone who knew a lot and hadn't joined the forum yet or maybe someone who was here at the beginning, stayed away for a while, and opened a new account to come back.

I myself like to be modest, I can't stand people praising me and couldn't imagine being him right now..
But maybe he is not like me and it doesn't bother him..

If not, knowing so much about crypto, why has he never posted on bitcointalk before? Doesn't make sense..

But even if he is an alt, from his posts I can see that he is a privacy buff, I see absolutely nothing wrong with him being an alt for those purposes..


I don't have a problem with you nullius, but you being so smart you should understand suspicion..
We have some of the best con artists on the internet in this forum that have pulled massive long cons.. Time after time..

One thing concerning about nullius is that he seems to have settled in with a particular political party around here rather quickly..

It makes for quite an interesting drama to follow lately..

Exactly, though the amount of research that QS is claiming he has done on him likely in the hopes he can somehow make a connection to someone he doesn't like shows you how insane he is.

His account is hardly new. He registered in March 2017, though I guess he only started being active fairly recently.
