Alhough nullius has here stood accused of creating artistic alternative realities in cipherspace, he would never plan do anything like serializing an erotic Bitcoin novel under an alt account.  Never!

I am nobody’s, and my love is nobody’s.  Whereas I would do anything for Bitcoin.

Good times! Quiet times... Glad Nullius is gone, hopefully forever. I bet he finds Bitcointalk boring now without the merit drama and obvious sycophancy. Jet Cash is once again the king brown-noser.  Grin

So where did he vanish?  It's been a while. Could it be that he went to live with Alia and she relaxed the big burden of knowledge he carries on his head! Or something else...

Haven't you read this master piece "Lauda is a WITCH, who cast an evil spell on me! BURN THE WITCH!"...
may be the spell did work... we should be asking Lauda?

My guess is he got bored with the lack of intellectual stimulation we provided. He must have found the secret forum for geniuses and abandoned us mere mortals.

Or he can't get past captcha/cloudflare, what with his aversion to JavaScript.

Wait, no, we're supposed to do conspiracy theories.

Maybe Quicksy doxed him and blackmailed to shut up.

Maybe Quicksy doxed him and blackmailed to shut up.
Well, he did dare him to do so:
As for getting doxed, I dare Quickseller and his schizoid Sybil army to try.  That’s not empty bravado:  I say about that the same as I do about hacking.  The NSA could probably do it to me; Internet troll canaille can’t.
Then again, from his own statement, it's more likely the NSA did it. Which means he's in some secret black site prison now, obviously without internet.

Disclaimer:
This is entirely based on speculation.

@NSA: I didn't hack your stuff. Leave me alone!

I had a few conversations with nullius before his disappearance via PM, and he was extremely annoyed with the way that the new cloudflare implementation was affecting his posting abilities here. Such a shame, as I miss reading his posts :/

Yeah, I seem to recall he's vehemently opposed to Javascript and thinks CloudFlare is a MitM attack vector. Well, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you...

I've been thinking if it would be possible to setup some sort or proxy for Bitcointalk, another site that shows a real time copy, and allows someone to post too. That way, the proxy can take care of the Javascript, and the user can just browse and post without it. It should be a paid proxy so spambots won't use it.

~ and thinks CloudFlare is a MitM attack vector. Well, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you...
He's not alone:
What I meant is that Cloudflare can see your unencrypted password when you log in. It's still encrypted from the real server to Cloudflare and from Cloudflare to you. So it's not blatantly insecure except in that Cloudflare is very probably an NSA honeypot, and it's not like the NSA is going to steal your password in order to scam people on bitcointalk.org or anything. If you use PGP for important communications and use a unique password, then IMO this addresses the plausible attacks well enough.

ChipMixer suggested somthing similar. BitcoinTalk Pro account - no Cloudflare proxy?

It looks like theymos just wasn't sure how to implement it so it doesn't get abused.

Where does he say that? I read both threads and didn't see theymos' reply, but I would love to bump ChipMixer's thread if there's any validity to having an alternative onion site to use.

It's a good idea, but I'm not sure how I would set that up. I'd need either one unique server IP per user or some method of segregating users so that you can't just pay the fee, find the IP address of the "pro" forum, and attack that.

I could use the CF API to whitelist IPs for a fee, but most people don't browse from a static IP. Maybe it's possible to use CF page rules to whitelist certain cookies; I'm not sure.

I think he means that bots could get hold of the IP address and DDoS it.

Hey, maybe some call girl tied him up and left him hanging in a closet. Think: David Carradine.

In memory ...
