they really need to do something about bitcoin transaction fees. or fix it so those of us who only have bitcoin instead of another form of coin (i buy it thru cash app and that is all they offer) have a way to put money on the site. i wanted to add another $100 or so to my balance to gamble with on the site, but didnt do it because the fee was $51.70, no matter how little or much i deposited. this is the highest ive ever seen it in my life and i thought the few times it was over $10 before that was way too much.

i would be shocked if its not seriously stopping others of u from depositing on coinroyale who arent huge whales.

Unfortunately, all of the crypto casinos and neither all of us here on bitcointalk will be able to fix/reduce an issue with the bitcoin transaction fees.
Also the amount (BTC/USD) is not a caused of the issue, but the inputs on that transaction. Multiple inputs = bigger transaction size = bigger the fees.
Transaction fees spike in times of extreme network congestion, and there is nothing we can do about it except:

You must use a wallet where you can set the transaction fees by yourself e.g Electrum wallet.

It is understandable for you to conclude that the problems occurring in deposits and withdrawals due to network congestion are a loophole in the site’s system. But the truth is that it must be understood that the site only accepts Bitcoin payments, and this is necessarily a strategic choice because nothing prevents it from supporting other currencies, which I think is very likely if the network situation continues as it is.

Users can proactively contribute to reduce their transaction fee by using Segwit addresses, and take chances when mempools get clear to move their bitcoin or to consolidate their small inputs.

True, also since a few years ago lightning has been quite challenging to understand, use and run for a non techy guy.

The Lightning Network is only one of the solutions that can be studied for the purpose of using it, at least during times of Bitcoin network crisis, since the casino does not support other networks. I can understand the extent of the complications related to the Lightning Network, and I very much support you in the idea that most users, unfortunately, are not accustomed to using it, and it is not surprising that they do not know its basics, without mentioning that users use wallets that they take from trading platforms, and not private wallets. This is like a dilemma.

If the Lightning Network option is not available or limited for one reason or another, it is the casino team's duty to think and strive to find other solutions.
