I dont think there is minimum bet, you can bet as low as possible based on the minimum bet allowed by coinroyale which is 100 satoshi if I remember it correctly. Indeed it takes your time too much because there is no autobet feature here, but if you bet high amount on every single bet then you will not need to take long time. You only need 250bet with 3.2mbtc each to qualify but if you are betting from small amount then you'll need thousands bets.

Based on the previous tournaments, I believe the prizes were not adjusted based on how many players are eligible. It means that the prize is fixed, so no matter how many users are participating then winners will get the prize as listed on the site since the first announcement. Regarding your possible prize compared with what you have lost, it is your own risk. No one forces you to join the tournament so your lost is obviously your own responsible. Even if the prize that you'll get is much more smaller than what you have lost, then it is what you deserve to get.

In a word, I am a big fan of this website. From 2015 to 2016, these two years I have played heavily in Dice and Slots from this website. I do not know what's going on.
