Some one used my username on bounty

you should report it to bounty manager so the people who stole your username got excluded from the bounty.
it also happen to me recently, when i open spreadsheet of a bounty that i join there's another people using my telegram username. i dunno why there's people who stole our work and rob our earning.
it become popular lately people stole Telegram or Twitter or Bitcointalk Username.
this kind of people should got banned permanently from this forum.

I faced same problem. That was so bad for anyone. Needs every manager checking the profile clearly and check Mew address for that.
Everybody should conscious about this things.
People who worked this, he is really a bad person.

there are two possibilities, first, you register twice and the second is really in use by someone. you better give tau manager so that all can be completed properly.

its been a normal technique of the scammers and hackers on bounty campaigns using other telegram username,as they are not easily be noticed because of many participants,and because most of the bounty campaign managers are too busy handling more participants in they're projects.

Yeah right mate.and some bounty campaigns now requiring KYC so there will be no multiple accounts and scammers may be alert of not having a chance to vicimized

I just had the same thing happening to me, someone using my nickname + link to my profile to try and get it in THE SAME (how stupid ?) campaign i'm in at the moment.

I didn't even try to understand how/why and did contact the bounty manager right away.

No answer yet, but i still believe the current bounty manager for the camapaign I'm in, is honest and competent as this scammer (error ?) was already redlisted.

You should do the same, bounty managers are people you can talk to .

Is it not common sense for a telegram bounty to require you to state your telegram name in the bitcoin talk thread? Just for the sake of stopping identity thieves like this? Its a simple thing to do, and if the bounty doesnt provide it, its probably not even worth joining due to lack of security thinking.

I think so dev too, it could be because of your mistake of registering 2 times, but if you feel used by others you can tell bounty manager that you follow. so you will know what happened and the problem will be resolved. this kind of action should not be allowed, if this is allowed to be more and more people who are harmed by the act.

One solution could be to post your ethereum address on your profile so if you report the incident then it will be solved faster as you should be the only one who can put that into your profile.

This is really annoying. It's good that you noticed this. If you complain, the impersonator won't do it anymore. I hope this isn't happening anymore.

My username also has been used by others and I reported to the dev of that project. Luckily, the rules finally changed and those who use others' username didn't get any reward. So just report the fact and make those people wasting time on nothing.

You should report that in your bounty manager so there will be no conflict with your application in your bounty campaign.These people are taking advantage the situation that is why you need to report so these people will be permanently banned from this forum,i know how it feels when your identity is being used by someone,report it to the bounty manager and the moderator so you they can take action against these people.

Unfortunately, such situations occur often. I consider it necessary to expose all these intruders!!
Recently I encountered the same problem, it's really awful to prove that you are you.

Someone using your telegram username means they will provide their own wallet address in the spreadsheet, so duplicate username will exist. Once the auditing is done by bounty manager if he found duplicates may be he will ban you instead of a scammer. So keep monitoring the spreadsheet daily just to avoid being scammed. Since someone scammed you just inform bounty manager he will resolve the issue. It is better if you could mention your wallet address in your profile just to know the actual owner of the account, of course, the scammer won't use your wallet address because you are holding private key of your wallet and only you will be having access for it. There are some people out there who don't want to work honestly and hard, and only want to cheat and scam others we can't avoid scammers somehow.

Report it to bounty manager mate, make sure the manager banned that ethereum address used there. It happend alot here, many cheater and bounty abuser at this forum, and that makes us who work hard and honest suffered. Cheater from multi account, stealing other people username and many more. So next time you found your username use to participate in bounty campaign but its not by you, just report it to the manager by PMs or write at the bounty thread.

OP said someone used his username for bounty, he can't really report no one, bounty manager can only remove his username from spreadsheet but as he is probably not wearing signature of particular bounty he will be removed anyway.

it is necessary to discontinue actions that are very detrimental to others, because this will make bad and bad precedent for those who have, this action is definitely no purpose for the benefit of self, just like doing this like get immediate action and should not be repeated because it will make a lot of followers if there is no action.

You can report that person to your bounty manager,these people shouldnt be given a chance to earn money in bitcointalk.A lot of cheaters are here in BCT and we should be aware of posibilities that our accounts might be used already before we join to these campaigns,there will be some people who are taking advantage with the system's hole.

Report to the bounty manager, Do not let that cheater receive the rewards that should be yours. If you just let it go, it can repeat it again and do something else to deceive the other person. And it is only right to say his name if you have really strong evidence proving his cheating. To give him punishment, and not happen again his work.

I think you are not quite right if you put it on this thread, maybe you can write your outpouring and complaint to reputation forum, or send personal message to the project manager concerned
