If you are posting here (on this thread, started back in February), you are trying to talk yourself into believing that you will maket your money back on a bad trade. I know we all do it.

The original poster is long gone.  You - the reader or the poster - you have losses and are trying to rationalize your situation. And once again, you are wrong. I don't care what you think, you are wrong and are going to loss more money.

“How did you go bankrupt?” Bill asked.

“Two ways,” Mike said. “Gradually and then suddenly.”

If the value of the assets that reduced your crypto because markets are now grieving. I think not only you who experience this, almost most people store their assets certainly experienced this. you just wait for the market smiles again with the hope of all the assets of crypto will shine.

So I basically got fomoed. Towards the end of 2017 I saw how high bitcoin skyrocketed and decided to invest in ripple as a test. Less than one week it went up 3x. This made me more ballsy and I put in 11k total in various other alt coins like ripple, ethos, tron, and cardano. After the crash I lost about half of my value just like that. I am frustrated with the experience and wish I would have just put in 1k or something. I wish I could just not invested and went into what I was doing earlier which was just investing the boring and traditional way. Should I wait and hodl or pull out and do something else?
first, I really appreciate your patience until you are still waiting until now, especially this year the market still hasn't shown a skyrocketing like last year. My advice is that you should wait and hold all the money you hold in Crypto today, don't panic. Basically the community has the belief that bitcoin will come back skyrocketing like last year. I know exactly how you deal with it,

I have lost almost all of it 2 times already. but it does not stop me, but only gives me an experience that I did not do. and you start to develop in other directions that would earn. and I advise you to look at other sources of earnings on the crypto currency

I lost 3 times the amount I invested. I buy BTC for $ 17k and ETH for $ 1200 and some other altcoin. At present the price of all has dropped from 2-5 times. I am very puzzled and do not know when the market will recover.

How much did you initially invest in cryptocurrency and how much do you have now? I'm not sure if you've lost something. In any case, I do not think we need to do something. Just wait a year or more and I'm sure you will get a good profit. You're not alone in this. Many make mistakes, or simply invest in the wrong place. The market is very unstable now-but this situation will definitely change and everything will be fine . The main thing is not to despair-there are always risks. But big risk is big profit

I think almost all traders have experienced same things like you, including me. There is nothing you have to regret and you don't have to blame yourself for the mistakes that have occurred. You better made this as a lesson so in the future the same thing will not happen again. You do not have to pull out from it, this should be can be a force for you to invest again with caution that can make you gain profits so that you can recover the losses that you experience. To hold it need to re-analyze market conditions whether the decision for hold is the best decision or you have to take another decision such as selling a loss to buy back at low price.

The price is at very low now but if we continue to hold our coins, we will have a chance to get our money back. Selling them at this time that mean we have accepted to lose our money forever

If you are holding now then just remain holding because the prices of most coins is going up some.

Now there is nothing to change, the best thing you can do is hold these tokens or coins in the hope that something will go to growth, because sooner or later it will have to happen, this is waiting for the entire crypto-currency world.

That's what you get for being greedy. Now you know that greed kills all. So what you're going to do now is to try to get up from the trade if you have extra money in your pocket. Else, end trade and save your money in your bank account.

Please just understand that every business venture has some elements of risk which the cryptocurrency business is not an exception, what I will advice you is to continue to hold on until market prices improves so as not run at a loss. Thanks

Well this situation is very common here, one should be mentally prepared to face this before entering crypto market, anything can happen as there is no formula to gain profits, better to hold  now till the time you recover some value or more

Almost all investors are in the same situation. The main thing now is not to start the panic. It will be also cool if those, who start losing won't sell their altcoins. Experts say that in 2018 the market of crypto will grow again.

Totally agree. But life is go on and we should think about how to manage our losses and keep our head cool! The market is dangerous but all will be good guys)

Everyone invested in cryptocurrencies in 2017, it was very profitable. However, now that the market is red, we have nothing to do but wait for the cryptocurrency to grow

Trust me you're not alone. I also made a similar mistake, as I invested quite a large amount of money, and the market sank three times, leaving a penny from my capital. The only thing that comforts me is that the number of coins remains unchanged, and consequently when coming bull market they will give excellent growth. At least I hope so!

I would not suggest you sell. At the moment you have a paper loss but if you sell you will realise that loss. Is it possible to change into other coins that may increase faster and above the price you paid? If you believe they will not drop further then if you do not exchange it is probably best to hold for recovery. Because if I sell it now, if will be FOMO which will cause me lost more crypyto amount.

You can try short-term trading, it's better than sitting around. At least it's worth exploring the question and maybe it will bring much more money than the hold.
