I don't know if I found your topic too late? But if you still have a hold of those coins, then no need to panic that much, Keep the coins on HODL.

Do not panic. Do not get carried away with emotion that will make you wrong decision. Take it easy. Not just you who experience this, others also experience it. I think soon the situation will start to improve. Hold all your assets and your money will come back.

Well, I think you just need to stay still. I can feel that comeback is coming and the market will recover soon. Let's just hold and keep our patience then perserver longer.

Investing in this year's encryption market, we will certainly lose. Because the price of cryptocurrency has fallen sharply this year, many investors in the encryption market have lost a lot. The risks in the encryption market are high and we should be patient enough.

Yes, this is an unpleasant event! But Above all, you don't need to panic. Now, almost all cryptocurrency holders are in the same position as the cryptocurrency market is completely cheaper. The coins you have indicated are quite promising, so there is nothing to worry about. my coins fell even more, I hope that with the growth of the market this situation will change

Have you sold your currency? If you sell it, it's really a pity, I sympathize with your experience, but you don't have to blame yourself, because most of the mistakes you made have been made. If you can learn the lesson, bravely climb up, you always Will be rewarded

Oh, my friend. Most people make the same mistakes, but don't panic, don't worry, we must persist and wait for the arrival of the bull market. I hope that you can learn from this mistake again. Make a better judgment next time.

Sorry to hear that. I honestly think alot of people are in the same situation as you are. Selling at a loss is not an option in my opinion because some point in time it will go back to the price you bought it.

Believe me, you are not alone in this lost during this period. These are some of the risks associated with investment in cryptocurrency. But, next time to just invest blindly study the markets and the coins well. And also invest with what you can afford.
Nevertheless, I will still implore you to hodl on to the investment good days are near.

Just hold them till they become profitable again. Prices are fluctuating, just hope it will go up again and sell at the right price.

I'm the same situation but i just relax and wait the market change to up trend, if you have skill and some strategy, you can trade it so the amount of money can be increasing with buy and sell many times , but if you dont have times for that and your purpose use that money for long term investment, so just hold it in minimum 1 year. In the end of 2018 the market will be growing again.Do a short-term trading, in my opinion, this could be a solution to restore half of the money that has been lost.Do not expect too much to get bigger profits first, most importantly do short term trading to get a little profit but often get it. Once the initial capital returns, you can hold it for a long time until the crypto price movement increases sharply.

If you have lost half of the value of the portfolio, then you are lucky) Many have lost 80% or even 90%! So just wait and sell on time!

So I basically got fomoed. Towards the end of 2017 I saw how high bitcoin skyrocketed and decided to invest in ripple as a test. Less than one week it went up 3x. This made me more ballsy and I put in 11k total in various other alt coins like ripple, ethos, tron, and cardano. After the crash I lost about half of my value just like that. I am frustrated with the experience and wish I would have just put in 1k or something. I wish I could just not invested and went into what I was doing earlier which was just investing the boring and traditional way. Should I wait and hodl or pull out and do something else?

I would have recommended that you put a stop loss of 20%.
Smaller losses always turn into bigger losses if they are not managed.

Since you've already held on the way down and losing 50%, suggest to hodl now but do monitor the market.
No one can really say if 6K was the btc bottom or there's another one coming - 4K.

If there is an opportunity in such a situation it is better to buy more, and if there is no possibility to wait for the best prices in the market. You may have to wait for months, but I believe that a reversal on the altcoins is inevitable.

Do not sell anything and wait until the market starts to grow rapidly. And he will begin to grow for several months. And most likely growth will be stormy.

Now you can not sell coins. It is better to wait for the market to recover and sell them afterwards, at least without losses. But I think this time will not come until 2019.

You're just not lucky, because it comes in when crypto is at the peak of the price. At that time maybe all the coins look very good.
But of course the market has a limit, and correction is the normal response of any increase.
But the market is still there, and will continue to fluctuate.
So if you are patient enough, maybe you will arrive at another peak, even higher.
