Whatever you do is in your hand whether it is right or wrong. And with wrong doings their are repercussions which is followed. This all are truly correct, I think the reason why some people are continuing/addicted in gambling are because they want to earn money in easy way, they use this as entertainment, and they want to come back their lose money. I was admired on this thread because they can shows the positive and negative sides of gambling, he/she is not one sided. As my opinion more people are can't see good sides of "GAMBLING" because when they hear it, all in their mind is bad effects and addiction. I really don't agree on this because until now I didn't make any friends because I play most of the times online. Also, so far I spent money on these games but didn't make a profit.

It depends on yourself, making new friends on online gambling site is easy. You only need to be active on their community (chat, forum, telegram, social media, etc). If you did not make any friends through online gambling sites, means that you are not a type of users who do not like to interact with other people online.

Making new friends is actually very easy in as much as you are able to have effective communication. So many sites have a chat system where all gamblers can easily chat with themselves about anything they feel like. Aside from that, people can also socialize through gambling.  Meet new circles of friends, deepen bond among friends, and often times it results in a deepr brotherhood among friends.  As long as the aim ofa person is to relax and have self control, those negative effect will never happen.  And it is already known that too much of a thing will always be bad, gambling is not exempted.

If you're going into a gambling situation trying to make profit then on the balance of probabilities you're just going to end up losing money. I wish a lot of people know that. I just finished seeing a topic where a noob is asking if gambling can give profit.
