Bad effects will not only happen to those who are addicted but it may happen for everyone. Lets say, there is someone who are just started to gamble because he thinks that he will win much money then he decided to spend all what he have but unluckily he lose it all. He is not addicted but he get the bad effects.
Obviously addicted gamblers have bigger chance to face the bad effects but gambling is still gambling, its good and bad effect may occur anytime anywhere to anyone.

The effects are deadly, it is super risky, If you get addicted to gambling it can give you a lot of disadvantages, especially if you reached to the point wherein you suffer losses, get depressed, and addiction can be a very bad thing with your career as well, the guy who started this topic has already stated almost everything on what the positive and the negative effects it could bring to you and your lifestyle.

Gambling is not for everyone. For people that are not enough strong mentally can be a nightmare to their life. If you know that you cannot support well the losing of some money then gambling is not for you. Gambling is for the strong minded people who see gambling as an adventure and entertainment that sometimes can pay off after the session of gambling ends.

There are positive and negative effects of gambling. First positive effect of it is; gaining profit. Gambling involves money right? If you keep on winning, well, the money keeps on coming to. But its negative counterpart is, losing. If you train and limit yourself on gambling, you won't experience the negative effects. Your points are okay. But there are two I don't agree with; on one making money easily. Putting 'easily' makes it sound like it is, even a professional gambler losses many times before wining. And the other one; making friends. Speaking from experiences, if I really want new friends, I won't be looking for one in a casino. They will only make you become addicted.

If you are good gambler and you have some strategies when you playing gambling there is a low chance to experience negative effects. However, if you really want to experience positive effect you should have plan and do not be greedy on winning and be patience.

Well, we all sure know that but most of the time, except we want to be deceiving ourselves, if we are to look at the level of those losing, it is bad anyway. For someone who got very lucky, won very big and was able to go do something very tangible and reasonable with the winning, more like an investment rather than gambling it all back again, then that is a person I would rather classify as a smart gambler.

If we are to generalize it, situations like this are hard to find, since most are losing and some who even win a lot, ends up addicted and still waste it all away.

Yes, controlling of your selves in gambling is pretty much needed because that makes you an addicted if that continues spoiling your self regarding that matter. But after everything has passed or after experiencing a big loss and return to gambling normally like controlling emotions well, then slowly you can play relaxed or just for pleasure, behind it to cover the emotions of the soul that increases. A big loss in gambling will not make a person stop gambling, he will come back and try to take back what has been lost even though we know it is very difficult and can not be said that it can be achieved quickly.

I gamble very often but one time I get the chance to win a big amount and because of that I think that I was lucky enough to win even higher than I got, only to find out I was losing everything....

Gambling is fun when you are winning, but there will be more times when you lose. Whether you win or lose, gambling is really addictive. You might want to play more even when you lose. I love gambling. The interval between win and loss where your heart beat increases, you get goosebumps and maybe it releases some hormones which makes it really very addictive. Despite of this effects many people are still want to continue gambling, how can you handle this possible effects of gambling in your life?

The most important thing to do when gambling is having self-control. As with anything in life, there exists several advantages and disadvantages that we would need to consider before doing such a task. Personally, I would handle positive effects in gambling by not trying to bet more than what I could afford to lose. Of course, gambling is sometimes fun and rewarding, but getting carried away, could cost you a fortune in the long term.

Many people say that gambling has more negative effects than positive ones, probably because they tend to lose more than what they earn in the process. However, I believe that's not the case, since you're in control of your gambling life. If you spend less than what you earn in gambling games, then you could avoid becoming bankrupt in the future. In some occasions, gambling is based on pure luck, and if you don't achieve such luck, then I'm afraid that your losing streaks would be more than your winning streaks.

Things aside, among the positive effects of gambling that you've mentioned previously, I agree that gambling gives so much pleasure. This is because, you'd want to gamble more and more to obtain your desired reward. And once you've multiplied your money, it gives you happiness and pleasure.
