The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Let's hope for a few more weeks - at least until the diff increase after hashfast starts shipping We could probably make it to break-even - at least in USD $$ terms...

We want input from everyone. We all might not agree on everything, but we want everyone's input. At the same time, as the co-op leaders (along with Thomas) we have to look out for *all* of our interests and that includes making sure that we do our best to not let any magic smoke out of magical Bitcoin miners, which is why I push to let others take the risks of testing new firmware *for* us, for free. My view is: Why should we clear landmines for others if there's already so many landmine volunteers?

reverted back to .96.1 and smoothing it out at 500+ now.
i only wish they'd release a firmware really pushing it to 550 and higher.
289+283 = 572 > 550 shows 563 now, slush reports the same. woot!

I'm not sure what's up with that - it hasn't been included in a block yet, but that TxID for R6 is a cut-and-paste right from bitcoin-QT. Starts with a6, ends with e3 Transaction fee: -0.00009935 BTC Net amount: -12.34520998 BTC Transaction ID: a60b1cf6c9e66940f6a9223ad226f051d2b3dc3f57b23370cb59cada650599e3

Hold on, no update in 11 hours and 0 hashrate on one of the miners for nearly 2 hours and this thread hasn't exploded with anxiety yet? Must be Friday.

Think its just not refreshing, either way the plugin is meant for a estimation and not a this is how much we have / will be getting. For that please check the bitcoin address. Hopefully it'll fix itself, which it usually does.

I was actually looking at the BTCGuild API (last night) to see if it could give me a clue as to why the plugin stopped updating, and came across this data:
{"worker_name":"DZgb5_1","hash_rate":0.00,"valid_shares":124801770,"stale_shares":168066,"dupe_shares":219840,"unknown_shares":420,"valid_shares_since_reset":124801770,"stale_shares_since_reset":168066,"dupe_shares_since_reset":219840,"unknown_shares_since_reset":420,"valid_shares_nmc":0,"stale_shares_nmc":0,"dupe_shares_nmc":0,"unknown_shares_nmc":0,"valid_shares_nmc_since_reset":0,"stale_shares_nmc_since_reset":0,"dupe_shares_nmc_since_reset":0,"unknown_shares_nmc_since_reset":0,"last_share":7394}
last_share = 7394 seconds ~ 1.8 hours ago. Seems to be hashing just fine now though.
If we started trying to set up more group buys on it, it's possible the new ones are failing/causing the rest to fail as a result. I didn't think to have it fail nicely. Worst case the short burst of updates is triggering DDOS protection on BTCGuild. That would be (slightly) harder to deal with.
