Hello,

Please take a look at this post, it may be worth a merit:

I would say that fighting drugs, terrorists and money scams really is a good thing. So far I agree with Mr. Gates.
But putting all that on crypto currencies is a little far fetched in my eyes.
From what I can remember all those things have already existed long before bitcoin was created. And I am not aware of an increases of those activities since we have crypto currencies.
By the way, I am missing the positive effects that crypto currencies offer the world in his statement. Like creating jobs, for example.

It doesn't really matter if Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies actually have anything to do with these dirty things. You can rest assured that they do have after all. But the true question should be how much really? And this is where things get complicated. Or should I rather say nasty? It doesn't matter if only a small percentage of cryptocurrencies is used in such activities because the financial elites such as banksters and their likes will be more than happy to jump at this opportunity to defame crypto. They will find a few cases where Bitcoin has in fact been used in money laundering, terrorism financing, or whatever, and they will make a scapegoat out of it, blowing it completely out of proportion.

I've never had any qualms with anybody derailing my threads. In fact, I most the time welcome it.

Blue Crappy Pants aka Bruce Peterson was a BFL shill prior to being employed at BFL all thanks to my efforts, I being invited to tour the plant and Bruce asked if he could tag along. I agreed and we shared a hotel room together the night before. We went to the plant and had lunch with Josh and David, BFL picking up the tab. Later that night there was a meetup where Goat and his wife attended. Back to the plant, I left after lunch to meetup with an ex-BFL employee (didn't pan out, for something came up on his end) and Bruce stayed behind for more of the dog-and-pony show. He was hired then. During his interim, he stole from BFL. Later, he, too, had his local police contact my local police to cease stalking him on this forum.

Do you remember the following that cause Sonny to go totally ape shit at the office upon being made of aware of it? (I'll you three guesses as to who nibbknot IS, the first two don't count)

I left most recently, and since I'm no longer under their control I can now share with anybody interested two important things.

One, bcp19, whose first name is Bruce, DOES work for BFL. Ask him and I'm sure he'll say yes, but if he doesn't, I have no problem with linking to pictures of him while employed at the plant. He's been there since last fall. I seriously don't know what game he's playing on this forum and what he's trying to accomplished, but I'm pretty sure it ain't good. To be fair, he is a nice guy.

Second. BFL received chips months ago that were intended for what you guys consider the Monarch. Thousands of miners have already made at BFL's plant using those new chips. Ask Bruce that also. He knows. Since you're now curious as to where all them miners went and are continuing to go, here... http://www.coinware.io/. Moreover, HashTrade, NimbusMining, LiquidBits, and Netsolus. The lead guy for CoinWare is named James (I'm not stating his last name because I don't want to get in trouble, but I'm sure you smart guys can figure it out). James visits the plant a lot, walking around assembling unescorted then heads to the offices of management to discuss whatever.

This post is valid https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=262052.msg6877963#msg6877963 because I was there when two guys from HashFast (don't get the name mixed up with HashTrade) walked the plant with Sonny, David, and Josh.

I honestly don't want to get mixed up with this mess because I have a family and all. BFL treated me pretty fairly while I was there, but feel it important for you guys who have millions still tied up and waiting for equipment to be aware. It's a shame that you guys who ordered first will probably be the last to get your miners. At least when you do get them, you'll make your money back, even if it takes longer than you planned, if I understand correctly how the whole thing works. Still, it's a screwed up deal.

One more thing, for what it's worth. Everybody in the plant knows about Sonny's past, and some not mentioned here, and we all joke about how we are (was for me, now) working for crooks and scumbags, most the time in Spanish when management is not around, of course.

Heck, I might as well add this tidbit, even though it doesn't matter none except to Sonny's girlfriend. Sonny has been screwing one of the pretty Mexican girls in assembly since early last year. I'm not going to mention her name for obvious reasons, but everybody at the plant knows it except Sonny's girlfriend who have a son together. I don't see that relationship lasting too much longer due to them fighting a lot, where then Sonny may start seeing the Mexican girl full time then.

Sorry if I said too much. All I wanted to say was about Bruce and CoinWare and how you guys are getting screwed big time.

Peace.

I remember when the nibbknot account posted, it was epic!  I will be totally honest, I had no idea it was you until you revealed such!  The BCP news was pretty big to me.  I couldn't understand why BCP was suckin off BFL so hard.  It made no sense, people had asked him if he worked for BFL and (prior to him working there) he said truthfully no.  No one I guess asked him AFTER he actually started working there if he did or not.  It was all such slimey word fuckery that was so typical BFL, one couldn't help but chuckle just a bit!

I remember Miss Pierce, the poor lass in charge of Sonny K's V's parole!  It really is to bad the judge never made good on his toothbrush comment!

I remember the barn wood stories, did you steal any good wood lately?  All the hard on jokes, while your humour could be a little different at times, I always laughed because it's my kind of humour as well!

I remember something about goat fucking, or was it llama fucking, or was it a goat fucking a llama, no wait it was a 3 way with a goat, llama and and old dude in a pink tutu, oh hell I can't remember but you get the point!

In the end the FTC swoops in to protect everyone.  I will say, it's nice to see BFL out of business, it's nice to see the people (that's you my friend) made a difference (however small it was), it's nice to see we were right about BFL and there illegal business practices and how incredibly stupid and short sighted JZ and BFL's attitude to miners was, it's nice to see JZ get tossed to the curb like the garbage he is, its nice to see Sonny and his crew are not on this forum sucking off millions of dollars from would be stary eyed newb miners.

It's a little less pleasant to think about the fact that Sonnny et al basically "got away" with it.  While I guess one could argue something like justice was served with the FTC case, I always hoped for a bit more so for me they kinda "got away with it".  It's not pleasant to think it should have been relatively easy with the amount of coins handled (from internal mining as well as sales) for these donkey dick licking scamming thieving cunts to hide some coins.  These fucks could possibly be sitting on a nice chunk of change currently...  It's also very unpleasant to think they could be here right now pulling the latest greatest anonymous ICO scam, I mean Sonny K would never do such a thing but Sonny V boy that's right up his fucking alley...

Anyways thanks for the walk down memory lane.  You did make a difference and there are still a few people left here that remember and appreciate it even if we don't say it!  Grin

Based on your distribution of merits in this thread I doled out a few sM upthread to the worthy posters as well.

"You mean to tell me that Bruno had a three-prong attack with a llama and a kid and didn't invite me and Ed?"

After Bruce admitted that he worked at BFL, Josh Zerlan posted that everybody knew he worked there, inferring everybody on this forum knew not those who worked at BFL. Speakin' of Josh, remember when we tore him a new asshole on his birthday, accusing him of stolen valor, whereupon he changed his bio on BFL's website that very night? Shortly thereafter was when he quit posting on this forum, but still posts on Reddit using a nym, mostly espousing about sex related matters. And let's not ever forget Josh's infamous tag line: "I am furry, hear me roar!" (Google it)

Read my latest posts where I've evoked BFL as it pertains to a currently running ICO. Those Investards don't have a fuckin clue.

There were some problems yesterday in Binance exchange, I'm quite sure everyone knows about them by now.
But with these problems another scam attempt is rolling currently.
Somebody (possibly several users) is trying to impersonate binance CEO on twitter and he is offering a giveaway (but user must first to send eth).
He is using same name and same picture in twitter profile and usually replies to the actual tweets of original account of the CEO.

See picture bellow.

It is actually quite ingenious.  I'm curious as to how do you select a worthy person or poster to send the sM to?  Is there any specific criteria, randomly or out of a goodness of your heart.  I wish more people would do this.

Hi sir, thank you for offering this giveaway! Could you review my post? This is a simple tutorial for adding image/resize image in post. Thanks  Smiley

Adding image in your post is not that hard, you just need to follow these steps (please note that you need to be in a position higher than Newbie):

  • Step 1: Upload your image to site like https://imgur.com/. Then there are two ways:
    • For image that are not in ".png", you can simply right click on the image to Copy Image Address/Location. You will get some link like this: https://i.imgur.com/lUr20xA.jpg
    • Another way works for all image format, you can click the dropdown list on the right of the "Copy" button, then choose "Get share links", and copy the one for "BBCode(Forums)".
  • Step 2: Use the following code in your post, your image will show:

Code:
[img]https://i.imgur.com/lUr20xA.jpg[/img]

This is what you will see after you insert the above code in your post:

 ******************************************************************************************************************************

HOW TO RESIZE YOUR IMAGE?

You can add width and height to the code to resize image, the code will look like this:
Code:
[img width=200 height=150 alt=image loading...]https://i.imgur.com/lUr20xA.jpg[/img]

What you will see after resizing:
image loading...

You can also add alt property to the img tag so that even if your image is still loading, it will show some text so that the user knows there will be some image appear later.

 ******************************************************************************************************************************

HOW TO MAKE THE IMAGE CLICKABLE?

If you want your image to be clickable (once click redirect to another website), you can use the following code in your post:

Code:
[url=https://bitcointalk.org][img]https://i.imgur.com/lUr20xA.jpg[/img][/url]

This way once you click the image, it will take you to another website (in my example bitcointalk homepage). You can try below:

Note:
- Newbie CANNOT post image.
- imgur link MUST have a jpg/jpeg/png extension. Also link to an album in imgur will result in proxy error.

Hope this post will help a little bit. Thanks!  Smiley Smiley Smiley

Let me try and maybe I can get some of your merits Smiley Thanks.

If one creates an altcoin today, what are the 3 most important factors that would make it valuable? Or 3 activities that would do so?
There are many factors that makes the altcoin valuable.

First is the team behind it including the advisers. In my experience, the one who has a highly reputable person in their team are those who are reaching their hard cap easily in their crowdsale. I'm not saying that all but most of them.

Second is the project itself, if it helps people or if it is working. If their project is good and if it benefits the people then definitely they will invest.

Third is the transparency of the team. They must show their true profile and they must not hide something because if they will do it then it will be a bad sign for the investors.

Fourth is their roadmap. Fifth is their technology. How many tx per second their coin will do? What will be the use of the coin in their project? In their platform etc.

Last for me and one of the most important is their marketing strategy. How they can market their product in the online world.

This will help them in achieving their goal in the future.  Smiley

This is an excellent and well written post.  Thanks for the clear instruction.  I was able to use it to resize the pic on imgur and make it clickable on bitcointalk.  I think you deserves an sMerit.  Keep up the good work and keep 'em coming.

Here is my post for Estimation, I did a thread summary and ICO Estimates for 2018 which may be worth meriting.

I try to list some of the popular ICO projects. If you think there are better ones or missed, you can reply to this post, I will continue to update.

⭐ Name: DIW
Description: DIW aims to ensure secure storage of confidential information such as identification documents, passwords, bank accounts and credit card information etc. The platform will also allow account holders to share their data partially or fully among them. In addition, Wordpress would be a payment system that can be easily integrated into open source CMS systems such as Joomla. It is recommended by many people around the world.

Dear topic started, could you please go through my topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3051837.0

The idea was to find signature campaign for newbies. Since most of the bounty campaign starts from Junior Member, i went through bounty topics and find most recent campaigns for them.

Thanks  Wink

And here we are again.

Cheating.

Bounty campaign cheating.

Good day there, I was going through the Blog spreadsheet of Skyllz and was amazed by the laziness of some individuals.

Long story short:

#138 #168 both just copied mine article, and pasted it as their own, the even left the topic name the same (that's basically how I found out this)

My article is signed "by pvt-snafu" so I would say this is some sort of the author proof.

HenryRoo

btw quite a big account.

dumiya

Proof: Skyllz spreadsheet

Should they be banned from participating?

The fight against cheaters will continue, I will update this 3d weekly, kill them all!

Hello thanks to the file shared from the boss I made a huge exel file where eveyone can click eveything to check merits, order from highest to low.

If you want the file save it and you can change whatever you want
24.01.2018 - 03.03.2018 https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1IxGZsbItpO59fVGaaIKSqMebRVDhvbHhpmeKOeo922w/edit?usp=sharing
04.03.2018 - 10.03.2018 https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zQN0e0M6Teu-KCDQM71Jvokf-1t6goa_Du_jrAZmono/edit?usp=sharing

If you find cheaters report to mods here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2896910.msg31441438#msg31441438

So far checked 58 accounts, with 50 smerit points transactions, 7 cheaters reported (xxx) on my link, 23 suspicius (x) 28 seems fine.
200 accounts 22 repots for merit abusing 53 for others reasons 40 suspocius, rest seems fine

Sadly the link to the post with merit can be no working, but the links for bitcointalk users are 100% working
So you need to click on profile, and see merit history
