Switching wallets too often. Lost a lot of BTC due to transaction fees and stupidity.
My biggest regret that i madenin my life is when i sell my bitcoin last month, i admit that i panicked, i am just afraid that i can lose my money just like that, so i sell it. But i learmed my lesson l, i will observe first the market before i make a decision or make a move

My bigget regret in bitcoin besides not getting into it during its early stage is definitely panic selling because of some fud and fake news. I still hate myself right now for that stupid move I did. I can't believe I fall for that causing me to panic sell all my holdings and regretting in the end because the price went up.

Well, it's kind of a sad story.. on my part and my brothers part. He's a big tech nerd.. well was, frequent IRC user and followed a few channels that were dealing with bitcoin at the time.

It was a bright sunny morning sometime in the year 2011.. he came to me and told me about this thing called "Bitcoin".. He's like man you should really check this out and buy some it's only a dollar.. there is something about this.... me at this time, I was into playing video games and getting high.. I could care less about technology or anything else besides playing a game not what it's made up of. I basically told him it sounds pretty stupid and that I was not interested.

Now look at December of 2017... I could have been retired living on a beach. The real sad thing is, he didn't even buy any when it was 1 dollar after telling me to look into and buy it... Oh well, live and learn I guess.

What are some of your biggest bitcoin regrets, and what were you thinking back then?

EDIT: Bitcoin "mistakes" go here =)
I once bought bitcoins as high as $16,000 only for me to see it fall to $13,000 after few days. Then again I bought hoping I will be able to recover the losses. But the prices continued to fall till what we now have in the market.

I have indeed experienced a tremendous regret, it was all because at that time I sold my bitcoin cheaply and suddenly the price jumped very high with a fast time.

Biggest regret, my super bad regret is when I still have some bitcoin but I already switched it with the dollar when the next few days the price doubled. But never mind, I volunteered and now focus to increase the amount of bitcoin I have today.

who regrets about bitcoin is almost like you because I think today if using advanced technology if investment cannot be used, we will lose even though bitcoin is quite high.

My biggest regrets is selling to early or buying too late bitcoins. It was very hard to predict how the market will behave when you are a newby and no nothing about cryptocurrency. Whith time and more experience it becomes easier to guess but still not guaranteed 100% success when trading.

It was unfortunately last year when I sold most of my bitcoins just before the rise in price. I wished I waited for a little more...I still regret :-(

I am very sorry that at that time we did not buy machines for bitcoin mining. We have a chance, but it didn't work. It's hard for us to understand all these programs, and no one will help us explain what is happening.

For now, I don't have any regrets. Because this is my first quarter joining the bitcoin industry and I don't have a big expectation. But I believe I can gain profit by joining bitcoin.

I wish I had gotten in at the earliest and bought some quantity that was appreciable. Or I could have mined much earlier and made some investments, acquired some assets and made some good cash. It is the past now, however,, I understand that the future is what we must begin to look into in order to move forward and not miss the next train! lol!

OMG! this question makes me remorse! about Bitcoin, I invested when Bitcoin was $17K but present at $6,300 what a loss so excruciating. I should have invested when it was 6,300 and the price surge to 19k, that would have been better. But all in all I hope the price increases and the total market cap attained more than $1trillion.

I regret when the price of Bitcoin reaches 17k USD and I still do HODL until the price is 10k USD
whereas if I sell at 17k USD, maybe I will get a big profit
I bought BTC when the price was 5k USD, meaning I only got 100% profit

It was when I am not yet interested on it three years ago and I always regret it. My cousins got a lot of it now but I have none and trying to earn or gain now. That was maybe my biggest bitcoin regret and maybe the biggest opportunity that might change my whole life, a life-changer.

I do not regret anything from Bitcoin. Because in fact Bitcoin had got all the information about this forum even before joining the forum. For this reason, no such incident has ever happened. Those who have regretted me.
