Dear bitcoin community,
I recently started researching in altcoin and I tried to figure out which other altcoin is more used in sending money online (I think a traded currency shows that the currency will resist in the future and will grow) and I came to the conclusion that Monero is that coin.
Why Monero? I think it's pretty simple, Monero because I saw that everyone from the dark web asks for payments in Monero, and this leads me to think that Monero would be a good investment now because from what I understand, even Bitcoin has first massively traded on the dark web, and Monero came as a more anonymous alternative to the dark web and so it replaced the bitcoin there.
So, as the title of this thread says: Is Monero a Good Investment?
I have presented my theory, but what do you think?
Please expose your opinion to help me in making the final decision whether to invest my money in Monero or not.
I deeply appreciate your contribution on this thread.
Monero grow from $12 to $250 in 1 year. Without a doubt, 2018 is be a big year for Monero with massive upgrades accelerating adoption rates. Kovri, bulletproofs, and multisig support will give Monero dominance over the privacy coins in the years to come. |

Monero is extraordinary compared to other individual security altcoins. Each exchange with Monero is totally mysterious. No outsider can discover the client data. It was a good investment in the past years. The bad thing about the market is that all Altco's are down. Monero is a good project for the future. You can rate it for trading.

Monero has always been on top 10 coins on the Coinmarketcap which has been stable for longer periods, the investment on it is good.

In my own opinion investing in Monero is a good choice and move especially that many people now get to know with monero and also monero has a big potential to give you more profit.

I think this is a pretty good coin. But I would like to see the price of Monero lower, to invest with very favorable terms. But the price is very decent for this coin, which is commendable. I think that this is the strongest coin from all anonymous coins.

Monero has too high transfer fees. The only way to reduce it without turning the basic security algorithms upside down is to reduce the size of the transaction and automatically reduce the commission, which is traditionally calculated for the byte transferred to the processing of the information to miners. |

Yes, Monero is anonymous and a cheap transaction fee coin. But more importantly, most mining softwares, add-ons, extensions, website etc. mine Monero and then convert it to Bitcoins and other crypto currencies. So in that way, it will always be in circulation and use. As far as how good investment it is, I think it might give you average returns, but don't expect any magic from it. Zcash, Dash etc. might give you better returns in the same category.

Agreed. Today we have to follow the big players. I think Monero can be held in the long run, but I would choose Ethereum. |
