Dear bitcoin community,

I recently started researching in altcoin and I tried to figure out which other altcoin is more used in sending money online (I think a traded currency shows that the currency will resist in the future and will grow) and I came to the conclusion that Monero is that coin.

Why Monero? I think it's pretty simple, Monero because I saw that everyone from the dark web asks for payments in Monero, and this leads me to think that Monero would be a good investment now because from what I understand, even Bitcoin has first massively traded on the dark web, and Monero came as a more anonymous alternative to the dark web and so it replaced the bitcoin there.

So, as the title of this thread says: Is Monero a Good Investment?

I have presented my theory, but what do you think?

Please expose your opinion to help me in making the final decision whether to invest my money in Monero or not.

I deeply appreciate your contribution on this thread.
If you plan to hold coins until the end of the year, then Monero is a good coin for investment.

Monero is a good coin, but it seems to me that the price of this coin will not grow.  Therefore, I would rather choose another coin for investment.

Somebody is going to conquer the privacy coin market, and Monero has as good a chance as any to do it.  The low number of coins in circulation should allow the price to hold and appreciate whenever the market turns around.

Monero has too high transfer fees. The only way to reduce it without turning the basic security algorithms upside down is to reduce the size of the transaction and automatically reduce the commission, which is traditionally calculated for the byte transferred to the processing of the information to miners.

Exactly that will happen in less then 3 months with bulletproofs. That should reduce transactions sizes and with that also transaction fees by factor 8. That is huge. And I dont believe that such huge development as Monero have will stop there but there will be constant redustions.

With Monero coin, there’s no need for coin mixers or other crazy privacy workarounds. One unit is guaranteed to spend just like any other unit, making an investment in Monero a little bit sounder.

Monero is one of the safest coins used for remittances, that is the reason why monero is worth our investment. Transaction privacy also makes it popular. I think to buy it is not too late, it will definitely increase the price. But there is no need to risk a single coin, consider also other options.
- Although I also do not know exactly what monero is contributing or any news about monero but it really is a good investment as many people are saying here because I have observed it for quite a long time and realize that it is very stable over time. It can be said that a long-term investment in the right meaning, the development is always very clear after each year, investing in it is never too late but we should still sell when it gains profit then buy back, that will help us to make more profit, instead of long term

I think if you want to get a good profit, it's better to invest in BTC.  This is a more profitable coin.

I think seeing Monero's development every day is also getting better, I think it's also very good so we get more benefits in the future, because we believe the future of Monero is also a good future that we use in the long run.
I think it's a bad idea to hold Monero on a long term.  It is better now to buy coins and sell coins by the end of the year.  I think this is the best option.

The investment in the initial coin offering is done through many different currencies including bitcoin, Ehtereum, and most comply through the conventional fiat method so its better to have these coins in the wallet you have

I don't like Monero, I think the growth is less attractive, it will be more interesting if you invest in ethereum

Monero is a good investment if you are a hold. I think I think monero will always be a good investment, because this is one of the first and best anonymous coins, which is very relevant today.

Monero is the first mover in the privacy coins.  I think its a great investment choice.  Its the coin everyone turns too when privacy is a must.  I doubt many of the competitors will be able to catch Monero just like the other alts cannot catch Bitcoin.

The appeal of putting resources into Monero is basically clarified. This digital currency varies from completely all different ones utilized as a part of exchanging. Monero evacuated the vulnerabilities that exist in the contingent. Cryptographic money is totally anonymous. Expense work or government organizations have no way to get information on the proprietor of coins. Every individual data is escaped outside eyes.

Always good to see Monero get proper discussions in the altcoin section, precious altcoin of mine. I've never truly been concerned too much with transaction fees, especially not when compared to all other fiat methods, fees are still dirt cheap, which is why even Bitcoin's "high fees" don't turn me off.

All the same if bulletproof does this for Monero, Bitcoin will be more likely/quicker to pick it up too. When people begin to recognize the value of alts like Monero in these new designs, then they'll appreciate them more.

Until then, enjoy $100+ XMR while it lasts Wink

I do not think that Monero coin is a good investment for the future. Now Monero already has a fairly large capitalization and the funds invested in it will not bring the expected profit. This coin has unique abilities for anonymous transfers (this option is used to launder funds received illegally), which in future will put Monero outlawed, but does not exclude her popularity in certain circles... Considering all this, I would not risk using Monero as an investment.

To date, Monero remains a good investment, despite the fact that there are new coins with a fairly high technological order.

I haven't really done much work in monero. But some persons have suggested that in future, the price of monero might rise to equal that of Bitcoin or even surpass it. A suggestion I am not too sure of. It may be good to give it a trial.
