Why would a pool get less stales/orphans/rejects than I would solo ?

Minar.cc Kudos PPLNS Pool

I have setup a VARDIFF+Stratum PPLNS Pool and its working fine, we have already found 3 blocks at the time of writing, so you are welcome to join and spread the network hashrate.

Please let me know if you find anything out of normal, comments and suggestions also welcome!

I have set pool fees to 1% and only 0.1 KDS payout fee to pay the actual transaction fee.

kds.minar.cc

Start your miner using the following parameters:
URL:stratum+tcp://kds.minar.cc
PORT:3340
USER:username.worker
PASS:workerPass
Sample command-line:
   ./cgminer -o stratum+tcp://kds.minar.cc:3340 --scrypt -u username.worker -p workerPass

New Kudos VARDIF+Stratum PPLNS Mining Pool up!
kds.minar.cc

Minar.cc pools are not running anymore, the domain was registered by someone else and I don't have any relationship with the new owner.

I have got a few thousands, and my pool is up and running, with really weird users that hop on and off really often.

I think it's too soon for an exchange.
The network is not stabilized right now, we need to get to the next retarget now.
I will probably need to implement new retarget timing to deal with hashrate fluctuations (we had 100Gh/s+).

There is still a lot more to come for this project, we are just few days in now.

Chain seems to be frozen at 14655.  I really like this coin and don't want it to die.  Any suggestions?

OP updated with links to new clients (V2). Everyone needs to update their clients ASAP.

New retarget is 20 blocks - 30 minutes with max 10% change.

Oh look, another coin that does a fork at the current height, rather than a block 2-3 weeks in the future. Now there's gonna be 2 competing chain because no one had time to upgrade before the fork.

Amateur hour. Please stop wasting hashes on this garbage.

The chain is now at 14655, the client is just confused because it was generated a long time ago, I'm going to push it further after more people update the client (I can see at least 24 connections from seed node).

Since there is no mining going on there is no other choice than to do it in a few blocks otherwise it would stay stuck.

Since there is no mining going on there is no other choice than to do it in a few blocks otherwise it would stay stuck.
There have been dozens of coins that launched with the default bitcoin 400% difficulty swing intact, and each and every one has had their blockchain get stuck in this fashion.

So that begs the question, why would you launch a coin with such parameters?

Let me guess, you just read the foocoin tutorial and thought launching a coin would be a good idea?
