I bought several ICOs but it is quite safe to buy ICO at the beginning phase of token sale when there is big bonus. If you participate at the late phase of token sale you will most probably buy the token for higher price that will be listed on exchange. (Personal experience)

I like to purchase during ICO, but this depend on situation. In the conditions when the market in stagnation i prefer to buy nothing, just monitor the situation

See when you buy during ICO it is cheap but you are not sure if the price will grow. On the market the price is higher but you are more sure in it

Difficult to say what better.
Because when you buy during ICO - you can get bonus and get more money after that. But - you have more risks.
I decide for myself - more risks - more money

With the way scam ICOs are popping up it is better to buy from market. You should also wait for the dev teams to show a working product instead of just buying it based on their white papers.

I think buy from market is better as compare to buy during ICO'S because so many ICO'S  listing below their issue price.

I think to buy at market stage is more wise, as there are so many scam projects who do not survive, so you are closing the risk of it.

Joining ICOs are risky because these projects doesnt have asurance that they will be listed in any exchanges plus most of these ICOs will require you to send your IDs or to undergo with KYC verifications which is not an option because your privacy and personal informations may be put into risk, bad situations like the others had, their IDs were sold in the deepweb.

All my observations indicate that it is better to buy on EtherDelta, after the ICO! Not always, but in 90% of cases exactly!

Indeed, some coins can be purchased on the market cheaper than the ICO, it all depends on the project itself, but you will have to keep an eye on the coin after its release on the stock exchange after about a week of its trading on the stock exchange, the best price is achieved! But we are talking about real projects that have a future!

I think it's better to buy immediately after the token is released to the exchange, right after ICO

actually, not at all bounty hunters will sell their coins immediately. if they think that is a good project, they will hold for the rising up in the future. besides, when buy at ICO time, you can get bonus and receive dividend if this project succeed

I noticed that many investors were afraid to buy during ICO because their reason they are cheaper can be bought on market. Especially when they found out  that a large percentage is allotted in the bounty program. Many Bounty Hunters  immediately selling token/coin even lower than the ICO price.

why be afraid if we are ready to invest I think with investment following ICO it also can get a pretty good profit, the key we must be careful and patient in investment with ICO

I've not participated on the ICOs yet but I have a planned which is if I have participate on the ICOs sell when the tokens/coins have been listed on the exchange then buy on the dipped if you think if that ICOs you've participated has a really big potential in the future if not just sell then don't look back.

For me, market. Most token values drop after the ICO has ended and the coin is traded on exchanges.

I do not think that bounty hunters can seriously affect the price of coins by selling their small amounts. If only we are talking about very weak coins which trading volume is very small.

I think that is a catch-22 situation where if no investor buys on the ICO, the ICO will fail and there won't be a cheaper price at all of that token at cheaper prices to buy, and by the other side, the bounty hunters are silly enough to think that pocket change is better than hold. ICOs are essential for projects, no matter what, cheaper prices at the markets are just a consequence of despaired people, I think.

Maybe you're right at the moment. In this period, seem those coins listed on the exchange then the price more likely to under ICO price but i think the main cause because the market is too bad at the moment. If the market is good, we are hard to able to buy token with the price is cheaper when it was sold in ICO. My opinion we should buy the coin when it is pre-ICO or after ICO.

Isn't it better to be bullish on ICO than in early listings?
