You can always invest during an ICO. Its way more cheaper but the risk is a lot higher. Because you might encounter a scam ICO and your investments just went to nothing.

I think the answer is: when bull market buy during ICO, when bear market but after ICO on exchange. But this is only for common projects. For best projects buy during ICO and hold!

In my opinion, we should not buy in the ico phase because that is really dangerous, as in the present moment, the risk from ico is almost too big, potential projects can not shine and stand out among the crowd, most scam projects have obscured all the light. Investing is only risky, although buying on the market probably does not get as good as in ico but at least, we are not cheated and can still be profitable if we know the proper analysis

yes i have done this also.but it dose not happen every time.if project have higher potential even bounty hunters want sell their coins cheep.so we will miss chance to get good profit.it mainly depend on the project.

Yes it is ! The investors are being afraid to invest some funds on ICO projects , it is because of the bounty hunters and airdrop participants who immediately dump their tokens once they received it and found out that those tokens are already listed on crypto exchange/s. Although the price of tokens are cheaper than markets but they can't make profits if the bounty hunters take actions on selling.

It depends on the project. But mostly if it's a new coin with its own block chain, buy it at the best price on the ICO because they're pre-sold or sold with a bonus. We can earn more money, and I only join ICOS based on my research.

This depends on the market conditions it should be better to buy during ICO stages not market because the price is always lower during the ICO price. Not always better to buy coins in ico time,becose the price can drop immediately after ico end like 2 or 3 times lower then pre ico time!I have many bad situations in my crypto life when im losing good amount of my tokens,investments in new project when ico is running,or angel invest,all depends how lucky u are..
