i'm in contact with the pool operator, trying to get him to upgrade his client and restart stratum. i'll let you know when he's finished.

You can start by downloading and compiling this:

https://gitorious.org/bitcoin/luke-jrs-pushpool/source/d917fe3c435b42a3cb2db52f88c75e69192fbcab:

That repository has a SHA256 version of Push Pool that works correctly with the modern cgminer versions.

Added: Then just follow the instructions in my post here using the above push pool instead of the scrypt version in the post.

won't work with shitcoin because shitcoin is based on OSC. he will need to extensively modify the hashing algorithm and submit block method to get it to work.

It is working just fine for me.

Push Pool uses getwork to submit blocks , not the submit block command  Wink

i stand corrected. different from how stratum submits blocks. so essentially push pool is allowing you to use the internal miner of the client with external hardware... cool

I've noticed when it comes to shit and all things shit-related, the people on this thread are creative to a startling degree, albeit really funny.

So we need a new and real shitty SHT logo.

Let that shit fly, shitters!
