Well take a good look at meetngreetme or Welcoin they have a very good product and services but unfortunately, after their ICO their coin is nowhere to be found the farthest they have gone was getting listed in IDEX after that the dev fully abandoned the coin, it'sd really not a guaranty, I prefer investing on honest people.

I am also sure that a project without a ready and useful product has no real prospects for successful development in the future. It is unlikely that many investors are willing to risk large sums of money, choosing a project without a finished product. With the current market situation, no ICO will succeed if they are only a token or a coin, it should have a product or service attach to them, it's so easy to create a token or a coin right now, because it is open source, gone are the days where a dev can create a coin and every one will buy it, it should have a product which the community can use.

I don't think so that product is needed for ICO project. I think there is a need strong development team, previous experience related to their project, responsible roadmap, a clear concept about their project and so.
