Is product important for a project?

I would like to know what a project without a product even looks like? What is that? If you don't offer a product either for free or for money, what is the project for then?

For some peoples, it will be the necessary thing to be exist before they put their money into ICO, the product.
At least we know when it has a ready product, it won't take too long for the product to adopted by peoples.
With this, investors can roughly predict when they will earn their ROI in the future.

Well working product is a must for every tokens or coins for assurance of been successful in the future ,many coins and tokens still exist on cmc today with zero products ,what keeps them alive is trading ,some are buying and some are selling them ,this types of coins can die at any moment because of lack of products

I really want that a guideline for any upcoming ICO today. It is very important that a project can show at least a beta of their product and not just an idea with excessive descriptions. Because I've seen many ICOs that led to be a huge disappointment after they release their working product after a few years of their token sale.

The trusted ico can be seen through use launchpad system that puts more restriction for ico to be listed in that place. But we are talking about how important the product for the future of ico itself. Most of icos are only having MVP.

You misunderstood the point. Is it important for ICO to start with finished product or without finished product, like it`s in developing mode? With finished product it`s easier, you already have something to offer, without finished product you can only offer idea of some product, that can turn to be great or not. I`m investor and from that investors side, investing in finished products cost more than investing in idea. With same amount of money you can make more money on idea if it succeed, with idea you can be one of the first investors, with finished you are far from first.
