for me the product in each project is very important. because a project can develop in terms of the product. whether the product is indeed good and profitable or not. because everyone has their own opinions. so I think that product is very important.
If one project has not build a solid product for their company they will only be worthless in the near future. Their coin will also be useless because there is no actual usage from it. I had seen several coins after ico that is not surviving because of the lack of use of their coin in the eco system they had built. |

I think for many startups the funding can be an issue so they may not be able to develop a fully working product but some sort of demo version would suffice. However we cannot forget the actual reason for ICO is to help fund team to make project a reality.

Is it important for ICO to start with finished product or without finished product, like it`s in developing mode? With finished product it`s easier, you already have something to offer, without finished product you can only offer idea of some product, that can turn to be great or not. I`m investor and from that investors side, investing in finished products cost more than investing in idea. With same amount of money you can make more money on idea if it succeed, with idea you can be one of the first investors, with finished you are far from first. This is your interpretation of the question, but it's ok I get your point. Still I am saying that you should have something that convinces people to finance your endeavors. It can be an idea, but in the best case scenario it is a product. Product will determine the future of the platforms itself, the platform can earn revenue and continue the development from the product that is used by its customers. The product is a really important thing and it's the main key to make the platform will survive. The platform itself can be the product if you take Bitcoin as an example. Still I would like to get an explanation what a project without a product is. |

Although, sometimes the product that is attached to a particular project may not be feasible in the short term. Hence without a product, I don't see how people would appreciate a particular project. A product doesn't have to look feasible (unless you are into the fashion business). It has to bring value to the users and solve a problem for them. That makes a good product. |

Some peoples are interested to investing on a project that already have MVP (Minimum viable product).
It is to ensure they will get their profit later if the products being used by other peoples.
So, it is important for some peoples, for other peoples it is not mandatory.
