While a ready-made product is an advantage but not necessary for fund raising. Because the nature of fundraising is to get funds to develop an idea into something real and existing.

Frankly speaking, if you see a tech company, already operational, that is in need of investors with equity sharing and you see another startup that is yet to even have an office, seeking funds to commence operations, which would you be motivated to invest on? Obviously it is the one that has started operations already. Same thing applies with crypto projects too

There is nothing next to having a working product. It's such a shame they crypto of today Is filled with more whitepaper  than products.. Some crypto projects are even altering their project usecase without the conscent of the community.. DAV is an example of such.. It's pretty annoying

Once the project have product they take advatanges to the other project, mostly for the investors finding product to the project but they have some people who really don't care if the project have product or not because they did not know the advatanges of havibg that product.
