Yup, halving would be first big thing, because right now inflation is pretty big (12.500 coins per block)
Ofcourse, adding to Binance or Bittrex would be also big thing, if that comes before halving. Smiley
For anyone who can wait few years, BTCZ indeed could be very profitable. But, people don't like to wait....

The halving is usually good but if the price doesn't stay where it is now and mining turns out to not be profitable, maybe many miners leave the network?

What can be done to change this scenario?

I guess the devs have  done a great work!!!! But now BTCZ must become known and adpted by outsiders!!!!

trade.satoshi btcz wallet is go.

Pardon my experience. Got the Dance-uenca here. It's like a flue (read disease) that comes from to much "dancing".

Early symptoms. Suddenly you remember winning some table tennis match in highscool. Et cetera.

Throw some "shit" and see what sticks.

The ideal would be a supply of 210 million, would be great for the currency to live in this market so fragmented

https://btczexplorer.blockhub.info/richlist

Oh look BTC millionaires or billionaires they must have 300 gpus!!!!

Those heavy guys will hold the big bags while the dipshit's dumps. Keeping it all in balance.

PS: The list don't show private (non-transparent) addresses.

Throw some "shit" and see what sticks.

For about one hour is it possible to purchase ASIC miners to mine Ethash coins as ETH.
905 USD include PSU to mine with 180 MH/s and 800 W power usage, delivery in July 2018.

As soon as the first badge is in the market we will see that Equihash difficulty will increase
because many GPU miners of ETH will move from Ethash coin to Equihash coins like BTCZ.

https://shop.bitmain.com/product/detail?pid=00020180403174908564M8dMJKtz06B7

Looks like Vitalik Buterin gets a problem ... "ETH is ASIC resistant" is now history.

maybe I should not rush, only today I noticed this wonderful coin, while there is no price, I need to have time to dig or buy  Wink

perhaps some promising coins should be as much as possible in the shadows, in order to give a chance to have time to earn coins for those who do not have the opportunity to buy themselves expensive equipment for mining

It's only a matter of willingness to change algo. A lot of time to change it so, that these ETH asics would be useless.
Just like with cryptonight.

A few points:

1) BTCZ is Equihash, not Ethash.
2) $1000 (with PSU) for 180Mhs at 800w is not that good to be honest. Yes, the equivalent Mhs GPU setup would be around double the cost but the risk of the ASIC becoming a brick from forking is huge. I know there are other Ethash coins but still, I don't look at this ASIC and get excited to buy one. I prefer the flexibility of GPU's. Also, Antminers are really, really noisy machines so really, only farms are going to buy this product and if you're a farm owner would you take the risk knowing that ETH could fork? I wouldn't.
3) Mining BTCZ has been more profitable than mining ETH for a very long time.
4) If we have new miners come onboard then it's all good - the coin gets more exposure and growth. There is enough BTCZ supply for everyone to have a slice.

Happily mining over at Equipool now and truly digging it! Good on ya to those developers who put this pool and these stat pages together. Very comprehensive and valuable, also. Now if I could only find a tutorial on how to set up the .7 wallet I could change my name to MrHappyGuy.

This TenX is exactly what is needed to make most any serious coin valuable. BTCZ will prove it's worth over time. There is really no need to change a thing.

No doubt about the quality of their work. I just wanted to mention that block halving isn't always a guarantee for the price to shoot up.
