I believe that one part of the portfolio should be for long-term. This is a very strong company, most likely the blockchain platform. And the other part is speculation.

I hold 3 coins espers-(3 years),insane-(2 years),html - (5 years)  and price is the same....no moon ....I dont trust to holding anymore,any suggestions? You can't base your distrust in hodling on 3 NiceHash special coins that most would dump within 2 weeks of mining. If you were hodling ETH, Ripple, Stellar or any other coins in the top 10 for 2-3 years, you would respect the hodl. |

luck the most important thing sometimes we are wrong to hold altcoin or token so we have to do research first. I hold the token already there one year the price even decreased but I do not panic

Holding Coins gives you a lot of profit because the most cryptocurrencies have limits and halvings. But cryptocurrencies like Dogecoin are limitless so investing in them wouldn‘t make sense. I use Dogecoins for sending money to friends because the dogecoin is very stable.

It depends on which coins that you are holding. There are many good coins to hold for a long term such as bitcoin, ethereum and litecoin. However, there are still many silly coins which I strongly advise not to buy it and hold.

Holding no bullshit, It's all depends to what are u hold in on. You should hold a good quality coins which has a good working product or services and you make sure the project is good before you hold.

You are holding worthless coins that has no real value. Advice to sell all of that coins on the exchange and exchange it with a better coin that has the ability to generate good profit especially for a long term hold. Best to refer good coins in top 10 in coinmarketcap. Im pretty sure when you are holding tokens that belong to atleast top 10, surely you have a good profit for long term hold.

I think the coins you are holding are not out there to solve real problems otherwise for the period they have been held significant growth must have occurred. Please always check problems to be solved by projects before buying, read their whitepapers, check the roadmap and the team, possibly check the team's profiles if they have succeeded in other projects they handled prior to this time.

If any coin has a lot of FUD around it, it's not a good idea to hold. Holding 1 or 2 coins is always the best idea which you really like .

Why bullshit? I think holding coins is never a bad idea. The idea of holding coins for profit all depend on what you are holding. And you know that not all coins worth holding for long. It is better you do your research on coins before deciding to hold..

In that 5 long years, you should be an expert in crypto space right now giving advice for all newbies. Even the names of the coins you hold are funny insane. What a coin! I think you made mistakes for choosing them. Not all altcoins are worth keeping even some newbies in crypto know that. You should sell them early on and I hope it's not too late for you to sell them and wish they still have a market value. |

Possible for the wrong people in choose a coin for the hold will say it, but for the good at analyzing the coin price moves will say otherwise, as they will hold the coins according to the market circumstances. so for security then choose a coin coin that has proven credibility, do not hold too long time ico coins.
