It depends on coins that you have, there are coin that is useless to hold and the other is good to hold and wait until the price will go higher. So before you hold do some research for your coin if is good to hold.

No it's not, holding is a good decision because some of the tokens that have been release in the market is, the price is too low so the better way or decision you will make is to hold that tokens cause if one day if that token goes hype then that is the time you should sell your tokens. holding isn't bad at all you just look for a good and better opportunity to have a good income.

I hold 3 coins espers-(3 years),insane-(2 years),html - (5 years)  and price is the same....no moon ....I dont trust to holding anymore,any suggestions? Well, you understand that you were just mistaken with the choice of projects for investment. Many projects bring x100 in a few months. Some need to wait a few years. I do not think you are right on target in choosing Altcoin when you buy coins.
Why did not you try to buy Ethereum first?
And if you buy ETH you will not regret it because at this time ETH ranks second after Bitcoin in coin market cap.
You should immediately sell it and buy ETH.

Holding can give you big profits if you are choose the right options. You are failed to get profits because of your wrong choice. Before taking any always try to take expert decisions or opinions if you don't have proper knowledge. Don't take any decision in a hurry. It's also true that after taking all precautions, sometimes negative things can happen. Hope you will understand what I mean.

The majority of the altcoin would vanish in a year time as their objective itself isn't clear or sufficiently enormous to support in coming years. So just btc and other best of the altcoin could survive and holding such coins will be more productive in holding it as opposed to offering it at beginning time and after that lamenting at later stage

Holding as I would see it more troublesome approach to make benefit since we dont know the fate of digital currency and there are in excess of 1500 unique coins in the market so hard to chooce which coins has solid key and massivrle potential in long haul. Also, really day exchanging and long haul exchanging is greatly improved approach to make benefit.

It depends the crypto you hodl. 99% are mostly pump and dump shitcoins. Hence, better study and research on the coins before decided on hodl. So perhaps better stay in those top coins, and there actually some great coins that hodl worthy. But you have to DYOR.
