Because your coins is bullshit too, that is why there are no improvements,HOLDING good altcoins and tokens will give you a lot of profits but holding these shitcoins which doesnt have good working product/services wont give you anything even you waited hundreds of years.Do a lot of research find new potential coins or projects only invest to good projects, read whitepaper check the team, the current developments and im sure your holdings will give you much better outcome.

That's right. Funny but true. it depends on the coins your holding, it will surely be useless if you would be putting your faith on those coins that would mature to be good ones in the end. If that happens, then you can consider you venture of holding them as in vain because they won't give you any profit that is worth the time you have held and kept them. For some people, they don't think that the amount of earnings they should get should be considered with the time they help the coin for, to me, if you only gain around 10% after holding it for a year, although that's profit, it is still a loss in my column.

Holding is bullshit? Probably true in case when hodling shit Grin (no offence)
I would suggest to wait till next BTC price spike and than dump them alt's.
If nothing happened for all those years of holding, its highly unlikely it will change now and you know it.
Dump and put your mind at ease, think about how much time have you had wasted on constant check-ups etc.
Personally I'm also holding some happy-crappy tokens that lost 95% of its value, no doubt I will get to dump them all.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3090962.msg31902765#msg31902765 here is how my wallet looks like.

That's right. Holding is one of the better strategies to make sure that you don't experience losses or you at least mitigate losses that are underway. Therefore, I would not consider it as "bullshit" or in vain except if what you're holding are bad coins that don't have a chance to actually gain value and give you good return after holding it for so long. The purpose of holding is to basically wait for the coin to recuperate and gain its value back rather than doing business in a point where the coin would not do you any good.

On the market 1600 coins approximately exists. No surprise if some of them are not rising. Maybe those coins were born dead yet. It really seems so. Buy Ethereum or Bitcoin and these coins will rise

Holding bullshit coins won't help you get rich, it even lost value as long as you hold them. Do research and hold real potential coins like Eos, Eth, Edo...

You have proven that not all coins are not gaining even years passed. Maybe the team behind gone relaxe or scam. However, holding other coins are not same fate as you. just study the trending coins and hold them till time they gain and leave if not. thats trading. you're just holding temporarily.

Holding is a good strategy, but the coin you choose doesn't have much potential. If you hold a potential coin, you can easily make a huge profit in the short term.

of course all your own choices are decisive and I have little opinion about it,
if the coin is not up now then try to see how bitcoin wakes up, it takes a little time to get to this point

It seems that you believe that investing is a kind of lottery. Of course, if you're very lucky you can guess a coin with 10.000% profit in a year, but you can't count on this. You need to have a strategy.

Wow thats a great hold for almost three years but unfortunately, you are holding coins that didnt raise good value enough. Better sold out those coins and buy and hold coins that is more popular in the market and also best for demands. Like the top 10 coins in coinmarketcap. If you hold the top 10 in coinmarketcap, surely you have a great future for profit.

I think your trading is not using your mind, trading is like we do buying and selling, if you want to be successful then you have to know what you are selling, well just like coin, then you have to buy and sell it.

You should invest for a long time in the main coins and not in the altcoins that are unknown, they can not trade for a long time !

You know what? Why there's no moon ? Because you bought bullshit coins. Holding is not bullshit. Yeah it takes so many week and months to gain your profit but if you buy good coin that have enough value at the end you will be satisfied to your profit. I suggest to buy like bitcoin or good to make your coin more profitable not a bullshit one.

Holding is bullshit if you hodling shit. Take for example any coins from the top 40 and see their history.
The example with NEO is very steep(from 0,2 to 150) - x750.

Holding bitcoin is not bad, it depends on the project you entered, you can really get a high price for that. I think it's better to join bounty and get a free token. So your money will be not in risk.

Yes, NEO has become an exception. But we must know that the probability of such a situation is too small. No one can get the right foreknowledge.

If you hold any of the top 100 coins since day 1, you would have made good profit.
Holding is never bullshit. The question is 'are you really holding?"

Nonsense is when you lose everything in the hope of getting rich. The market is designed for such stupid players who can not stop and lose everything .

Thats true, because of it, if you have a good portfolio, you have to identify the lowest possible point for each coin, after which you are going to sell it.
But holding is still working, you only have to choose prospective projects, that's it.

Because the COINS you hold have no value, so you don't get anything. Why don't you choose bitcoin or XRP? You should ask yourself, have you ever known your COINS?
