Yes of course it makes our market cycles more healthy,it opens some doors for the few smart people who would buy these cheap altcoins from the dip giving them thousands of dollars in return,reward from taking risk to buy from the bloody market.I have been doing this method and its very profitable o always spare some bitcoins in my hard wallet so that if the bloodbath happens i can buy these cheap altcoins.

The correction isn't only based on a single person or organization perspective of value but the free market will decide how much would be the value of each crypto.

Yes somehow bloodbaths are good opportunity to acquire those solid coins in cheaper prices, wont be a big problem when you are out from these altcoins,sticking with bitcoin when the bloodbath started would be the best thing so you could buyback these altcoins from the dip shit you are into.Do not worry because corrections are normal thing the market needs to breathe a while.

Will in my own thoughts this market correction of price can cause FUD  into the mindset of every bitcoiners or investor because they thinks that there asset  is growing and they can earn a huge profit,but suddenly they  frustated because,there investment turn to loosing because of this  implementation of correction of price value in the exchange market,maybe as your stated that mostly here do not do research,because those correction have a positive outcome that those hype defliated,but if you looking the whole situation ,now the problem is still occur and the reality that the mindset of the investor is to earn  not by cosecutive correction that can cause reducing the value of bitcoin.

I total agree that market corrections are good very good opportunity for smart and experience investors to the best cryptocurrency in the market at a very cheap rate .  I have been opportune to also acquire the cryptocurrency of my choice due to this corrections.
