In the long run, house edge is a major major factor that decides whether you are in profit or in a loss. If you see mathematically then it is the house edge %age that decides the net profit of your gambling house than mere luck. Lower the house edge, lower will you loose. Its not something to feel about, it is something that is a fact.

Its always been the fact that house edge will really be the main enemy when we are playing gambling.Longer runs is possible but anytime you can be bust.Accumulating winnings to make your profit bigger but if time comes that losing streak would come out then i feel sorry for you because it would really turns out useless after all you have done on accumulating.Positive thinking or positive vibes do really contribute on surpassing our limits.

I highly doubt that positive thinking can affect the outcome of our bet as if we are playing on an online casino then already the outcome is fixed by the algorithm on which the casino is built, but if we are betting on a sports game then also there is no chance that outcome is dependent on the positive thinking. But if we are playing in a physical casino then there are chances that the outcome can be affected by our positive thinking to a certain extent.

If it is then I think that despite gambling being a game of chance, certain circumstances just fall under coincidental incidences which makes a gut feel valid. Something like this has happened so many times that I came to conclusion to never go all-in on the pre-flop even with AA.

Yes luck and analyzation are some of the keys to increase winning chance rate but somehow having a positive feeling that you may hit the bell will also increase your expectation to win. No need to literally point out to the person that having a mindset like that is useless as what matters here is, they are comfortable with their bets and picks no matter what the result is.

So stop thinking that when you are positive and you have a strong feeling that you're going to win it's going to happen. I have never motivated anyone to gamble in order to make profits and like many others on this forum I say that gambling can be used for entertainment purposes only because it can be harmful otherwise. There is no motivation for gambling in my post you quoted either. If you have problems with understanding you better read twice before accusing someone of anything.

I do not think positive thinking will affect our edge in gambling.  It only affect our attitude towards losing.  As stated, gambling result depends on the randomness of its internal setup.  Anything from outside that sphere has no effect.  I have seen lots of positive thinker getting busted in their whole time of playing.  It only helps in accepting loses in gambling, no more no less.
