I am sorry but i need to disagree with what you have said. I may not be a gambler but i played occassionally and i can say that it is not all about luck especially when we are talking about table games. It needs strategy and skills though there are times that the presence of luck is with us while playing. Slots and dice games is different, there you need more luck than strategy. So it really depends on what game are you in to.

I think the main capital of gambling is experience and skill. Then the winning factor is luck. In addition we must think positively for our victory since it can affect our confidence and improve our spirits. So we can maximize ourselves in a gambling game.

If you lose on a certain bet and you are still positive that you will win then you are still rational and think straight so you will bet according to your plan. Yes, I agree that interms of gambling its all about luck and skills is just an additional of the game. Do you mean pretending? I think it's what you mean, and not about "positive thinking".In card games, it's what you do most of the time, you hide the expressions in your face so your opponents cannot see your tactics.
