I agree, I do believe in facts and scientific evidences supporting presumptions but you know what? I still believe in luck. I don't know why, I guess probably it serves as my last resort when things flows badly (like praying to God when you acan no longer solve your problems) .

Like what all of you have said, being an optimistic is a good attitude not only as a gambler but a person as a whole because it gives you greater presence of mind while doing things which provides higher chance of better outcomes in the end.

You needed that kind of attitude when gambling, when you are positive you'll attract luck based on my observation.
I'm gambling sometimes not in a mood and I just loss, so it's better to be attached in what you are doing because when you enjoy it you might be lucky also. There is no scientific explanation to this since it's just about attracting luck and doing the right thing in gambling.

Mood only affects on certain kind of gambling games ( e.g skill based games ) because if your not a mood to play your game play will be affected but if does not have any effect if your only playing luck based games ( e.g dice , hi/lo ) because you arent doing any complex movement/thinking aside from clicking the roll button all the time .

Yes, having a positive vibes can make your playing experience better and it can also gives you hope to win though its not going to happen as easy as what you hope for. Positive thinking will just make things better, but it cannot change the result when you are losing already not unless you really do gamble just for nothing.

From my experience positive thinking almost never helps me to win. It even has the opposite effect in most cases ... Well, not an effect, actually, because I know we can neither "attract luck" nor frighten it off with our thoughts. But that's what I've noticed, when I have AA on pre-flop, I can't help but thinking that I'm going to win this all-in, and I lose in most cases. And there are other cases, when I go all-in with JJ or 99 even, and when I see that the opponent has AA, I think "I'm gonna lose this time for sure", and, for some reason, I win mostly after this thought. Idk, maybe it's just my brain playing games with me though.

People will think negative when they loss and won't get inspired. Losing is not the reason to quit but it could be a start for realization and acceptance of gambling journey. They think that by playing gambling, they can earn money but if they can realize that to earn money, they need to spend some money first and need luck before they can earn that money. They realize for being an addict in gambling and that is too late for them to get out from the gambling but they can leave gambling forever if they have a strong will.

Its always been said that everything that happens comes from the mind first but in gambling it doesn't always apply since the possibility of losing is bigger than the possibility of winning. Well, based on my experience luck do enhance your intuition on a certain matter and helps you to become more active which is a really good sign of a productive day. Luck rarely strikes if you are not feeling it yourself yet because your guts will always tell you what and what you should not gonna do when playing gambling.

That’s true, it doesn’t mean that you think positively you will earn a lot, its more on luck remember. Of course, in life we have to be like this, lose or win we should continue to be positive and never ever feel the pain of losing hope. Gamblers must be positve always but not on making money.
