As far as I know, right now the payments are manual resp. the execution of the payments is and the rest is done by the smart contract. So the team initiates the distribution and it is handled by the smart contract and everybody is compensated depending on the percentage of STE tokens he holds.

That is great to hear, it's the best way to implement such functions in smart contract. So the monthly dividend payments will be automatic? By the way, will you update your GitHub with A2A tokens info? The last commit is from August 2017, and there was so many changes since then.

I want to stress that this project is for a long term and putting up an exchange that aggregates the coins & solve the problem that other exchanges have is not easy. It takes time before they will completely done their platform. Look at their roadmap and see how the time of alpha and beta released. Well, I hope also that after this A2A coin, STeX will finally release its exchange.

I guess that after the ICO finished, they need to focus more on staffing up, else they'll run into the same problem other exchanges had (e.g. Polo with its horrible support and the slow reaction time before the circle acquired them). I understand why the ICO is the most important objective right now but I'd hoped for more news in regards to staff and especially marketing.

Hopefully yes, I think the team are just wanted to sell 30M STE tokens before their ICO will end. After they distributed the 30M tokens in the investors, then let's find out how STeX.exchange will cope with their promises to us.
Nowadays, poloniex is not credible with the traders and I do not want STeX to be like that.

Absolutely yes! Success entails sacrifices. A team that made efforts for a project to become successful even it takes a lot of time, is always want to meet their objectives. And I know STeX team has a characteristic like that!

The distribution, yes, but what about the initiation of the distribution? It's manual, right? Or is there a fixed time or condition that triggers the distribution?

I'm sure the number will increase by time, but if you think about it ... the current #1 exchange Binance has nearly a similar amount of coins listed, with pairs against BTC/USDT/ETH/BNB ... in sum ~300 pairs at the moment. With STeX you will have 10000 pairs with 100 listed coins because of the Any2Any technology.

Plus like @codemanX said, new coins will be added on the regular basis, so the final amount will be even higher.

I'm not sure if it's really 100 coins/tokens on start or rather if that would be the best approach since the liquidity pool needs to support all coins/tokens and therefore must be split. But I'm pretty convinced, that the advertised 100x100 pairs will happen sooner or later as the technology would be the limiting factor when the liquidity is taken care of.

Yes, it is really big specially if STeX will try to list even the top 20 cryptocurrency in CMC. The reason why they need to have a long run ICO because their project is not easy as what others do. Imagine, we are just in the middle of the success of this project and we never know if the target amount of STeX will reach at the end of token sale. Hope it will be because my STE and A2A coins will be useless if this project will not hit their goals.

There were several AMA rounds done already, Nick was very clear about this and the team confirmed this several times.

Fiat won't be integrated until there are legal rules/regulations:

The admin wrote before: With fiat, there are risks from the regulators. There should be clear legal rules. Than we will integrate fiat. Even bitstamp do not licensed exchange yet.

But USDT will be available, so no problems here. To be honest, I prefer it this way since fiat has to be handled completely different and STeX should focus on crypto.
