Damn! 12000 USD is a lot of amount for this. I hope they have something good.

Yep 12k is a lot for what will be a doorstop in about 3 weeks  Smiley

12k isnt the price, its around 2000/2500 usd

Why will it be a doorstep in 3 weeks? A few alt-coins already said that they won't be forking soon.

Look up on the thread....some folk say the coins not forking you can't really sell, and other issues...unclear...but not looking good mining wise

from what people are saying on here (I don't have any) it is looking 'excellent' as a 'space heater' or a 'doorstop'

hopefully, come coin will break in your favor soon .... not rooting on the sidelines for this to fail....just been in this postion (x11 d2 miner) it sucks!

Hey Guys,

I am going to mine Bytecoin (BCN) for a while since they officially announce their support for ASIC miners.

https://bytecoin.org/blog/the-asic-statement-clarification-from-the-bytecoin-team

I am having an issue with the Antminer X3 that it shows on the device that it is hashing about 235KH but it is is only getting up to 50KH at the pool.

Pool: http://bcn.jedipool.com/

I just tried to change the to fixed diff and port and the hash rate only got worse, went down to 5KH.

Any ideia?  I am in contact with the guy that is running the pool. It looks like pool takes anything. Nicehash works fine there we just sent 10MH there without a problem.

Thanks!

But what are you going to rumble on?

ETN until the fork, then on ByteCoin or perhaps NiceHash once the issue has been fixed.

I tried minergate.com as well and was getting super low hash rates on XMO and XDN.

Anyone out there interested in standing up an XDN pool that can support the X3?

For XDN I found the following calculation of USD 55/day: https://whattomine.com/coins/104-xdn-cryptonight?utf8=%E2%9C%93&hr=220.0&p=140.0&fee=0.0&cost=0.1&hcost=0.0&commit=Calculate

I heard of a team that might be interested in setting up a pool for ASICs if some miners are interested.

I would definitely participate.

I assume that from the list of these coins
Quote
Dinastycoin (DCY)
DigitalNote (XDN)
Electroneum (ETN) = Fork 30 May
Bytecoin (BCN) = NOT forking soon
Karbo (KRB)
+
Monero Original (XMO)
Monero Classic (XMC)

The most promising Karbo (KRB).
As an option - try the pools http://explorer.karbowanec.com/#pools

I am sure that such a might of the miner will not die off for nothing!

Cryptonight algorithm that X3 uses is a bit different than what we use.

Alright BCN Jedi Pool is officially supporting Bitmain Antminer X3 now. There was an issue and it is now fixed.

Create a Bytecoin wallet.

 1. https://bytecoin.org/downloads

Don't use web wallet. -> as far as I know it is not working.

 2. Configure your X3 to point to bcn.jedipool.com

URL:  stratum+tcp://bcn.jedipool.com:9999

3. Monitor: http://bcn.jedipool.com

Wait at least 30 minutes to see your Hashrate increase.

Since more people are looking for Mining ETN now nice TODAY it is more profitable.. I have just added support to X3 miner on our ETN pool as well.

I tested and it is working.

Just use: stratum+tcp://etn.jedipool.com:9999

and monitor:

http://etn.jedipool.com/

Pool fee is 0.1%

Your ETN pool wont connect, and your Bytecoin connects but never gets anything accepted.

It will be a mess if that doesn’t work and if they drop before the XMR.

so is XMC on antpool the only working pool that pays out as expected?

I don't want to risk mining coins that forked off already or not hashing as expected.

That's exactly how my miner is setup (also using us-east) and it is hashing at full speed.  As long as you use your registered name it should work.  Worker's name can be anything, and as far as I understand you don't need to create worker manually unless you want to, pool will add worker automatically based on your config (whatever you use after dot).
