did someone here say that not all coins are forking?

Confirmed forks
Monero
Sumo
IPBC
Masari
Dero
Graft
Electroneum
AEON

Any other coin other than those will get destroyed by the asics. Minimum exchanges, which means 0 liquidity, no where to dump the coins, so no money being made.

Dont understand when general public will learn the lesson.
You know they mine with it before getting to you
You know they only release to public when the associated networks find out
You know that majority of Devs will fork away

So please explain to me the logic of then going out, spending thousands of dollars on a glorified paperweight within a few weeks?

At least overspending on a GPU i can mine whatever i want except being pigeonholed by some 2nd hand Cryptonazi company like Bitmain etc.

Its a joke, and whoever buys one, guess what the joke is on you.

There are a lot of people who have cash but are dumb, that's why they spend their easy or hard earned money for such doorstoppers like cryptonight asic's.

Yup the joke is on me!!  I laughed when I walked into the bank.   I'm up over 11k on asics.     as far and my gpu rig I'll never even get close as to what I put into it.   I did take out 2 of the 1080 ti i have and put then in my pcs I run for VR.  Overall I have done pretty well with asics.   but once bad run could ruin it all.  I put my x3 on Ebay an was going to sell.....I sure would like to mine with it but doing the numbers it looks like id only get half the roi before etn forks.........I think I'd be better off selling it for 1900 and buying 1900 worth of etn.

Since more people are looking for Mining ETN now nice TODAY it is more profitable.. I have just added support to X3 miner on our ETN pool as well.

I tested and it is working.

Just use: stratum+tcp://etn.jedipool.com:9999

and monitor:

http://etn.jedipool.com/

Pool fee is 0.1%

This pool still working?

Hi! I connected yesterday and it was working. But today my hashrate is 0. So, that's it, no more mining ETN there?

So now that mine has arrived...that front plate. Has anyone added a pull fan? Did you just stick it on the front, or use a shroud? If shroud, where did you make it/get it from? I'm going to start brainstorming but if there's a shroud already designed for it that I can just buy on ebay or something I'd rather just do that (I don't own a 3d printer or anything)...

I'm actually doing something similar.

I have only found one place they sell the front fan bracket off-the-shelf . Is ABS filament though.
I think its better if you can find a local metal workshop/laser cutting/CNC/3D printing services that make it for you in aluminum.

I am also going to replace the intake fan with a more powerful one. Then use the original intake fan as an exhaust fan to maintain a positive pressure.

Hi All,

I received my X3 last week. I started mining XMC, then realised it was worth changing to ETN.

Saturday it was mining around 2400ETN/ Day now its doing less that 1000/ day.

I am using easyhash.io with difficulty set at 200000000 and 500H.

Do you think its worth moving to another pool? Or has the difficulty increased that much?

Thanks in advance

Or how to read the miner status page?

Been mining the ETN right now with fairhash.org. Planning on moving to KRB once they put a fork in ETN.

I think the filament will be fine. I have a fan shroud on my A3 and ran it for months overclocked with temps about 20C higher than the X3 with no issues, and that screws directly onto the front. The problem, though, is that it appears this seller only ships to Australia and NZ...

I tried minergate.com as well and was getting super low hash rates on XMO and XDN.

Anyone out there interested in standing up an XDN pool that can support the X3?

For XDN I found the following calculation of USD 55/day: https://whattomine.com/coins/104-xdn-cryptonight?utf8=%E2%9C%93&hr=220.0&p=140.0&fee=0.0&cost=0.1&hcost=0.0&commit=Calculate

I heard of a team that might be interested in setting up a pool for ASICs if some miners are interested.

I would love to join that if theres enough interest

You can send a message and ask, perhaps the seller will make an exception.
Or be super rude and bold, ask him directly for the 3D-model file  Grin

The original XDN seems to have abandoned the project and the new team is not yet responding to change requests. This is the new website: http://digitalnote.biz/

There is an issue with the Digitalnote daemon, which did not get the latest cryptonight updates and provides wrong responses. The last two releases do not work with standard CN pool software.

Maybe you can cheer up the new team or there is a C++ developer to fix the code.

Today I connected to http://fairhash.org/ and before similar situation was on http://bytecoin-pool.org/.
So, why the hashrate jumps up and down constantly? The delay between peak hashrates usually around 30-40 minutes and I'm barely getting only third part of coins that actually you can mine with 220K/h a day.
Does anyone have an explanation?
Thank you!

I'm using fairhash, my ave, rate is 234 Kh/s. Getting around 1200+ a day now, should go lower with each passing day.

Anyone know if the X3 will work wireless, or does it have to be hard wired to the router?

The miner is wired only, however you can setup a router with the DD-WRT firmware installed in wireless bridge mode connected wirelessly to your main wireless router and then plug in the miner to one of the LAN ports.  However I dont think you would want to go wireless because wireless increases your latency, depending how  far you are from the main wirelesss router the latency might be from very minuscule with a 100% signal strength to very major with a weaker signal strength of like 35% or less.  If I were you I wouldn't risk compromising or jeopardizing profitability by attempting to go wireless, I would run a Cat 5e/6 network cable from the main router/network switch to the location where you want to have the miner installed and operational.  Remember, you paid either $11,999, $7,xxx, $3,000 or $1,990 depending when you made the purchase and your job now is to attemp to at least break even on that investment and then hopefully turn a profit and for that time is running out and you would like to do that as soon as possible, so no wireless.
