Some coins are still on their starting point where the just lunched their project, some are still reaching the requirements to be listed on the market cap, so don't be on hurry to see them on the list, and yes you can buy their tokens, and just wait for it on the market list.

why many coins are not listed in coinmarketcap? because each coin that wants to get into coinmarketcap must have a volume in 24 hours at least 10000 $, so from that coin that has not reached that volume will never get into coinmarketcap

I noticed a lots of coin on exchange site which are not listed on coinmarketcap. Should I buy those coin/token?

ofcourse u can buy that coin/token. that coins are not listed on coinmarketcap don't mean it's a shitcoin. that i know currently Coinmarketcap needs 100k$ daily volume to list their coins.. so, just wait that coins may be able to achieve that goal..  Cheesy Wink

Those coins that are listed in an exchange does not reach the minimum trading volume so that they are not yet listed in coinmarketcap. Anyway depending on the coins if you are going to buy, check the project if its active and have good potential for long term hodl for investments.

It's highly not recommended. but if you are willing to gamble to gain big profit, just buy it. those coins possibly haven't listed on coinmarketcap, because those are just on starting point to lunch their project. but it will increase its volume and value and be there. if that happens, you will smile in the end. of course it's risky that those token becoming scam, that's why I said it's a gamble.

You can buy but can not say whether it will run or not. Many co-workers are not listed but they are trading. Make a market study for this.

Coinmarketcap lists only coins that have trading volume above certain threshould.
They have the full terms and prerequisites for listing a coin on their website.
Yeah, and as long as the coin or token does not meet up with the volume on any of the exchanges they are being traded on, then it will not be listed. However, with respect to the OP's question, this does not mean they are bad or does not also mean they are good. It all balls down on the team and the product that actually backs up the coin or the token. As long as this is a good project that would easily fly when the market is back, it would most definitely get a boost.

As long as you know they have a good product backing, the possibility of growth in the future and an active team, then you can go ahead, if not, you better do not try it because you may just end up bag holding a shit coin for the rest of your life unless you are just lucky to see it get pumped and quickly sell out before the dump.  Coinmarketcap usually do not list low traded volume coins, and that is why you would not see some of them.

There is a currency that I also wanted to invest into like Reality Clash Coin but its only listed on etherdelta exchange which I am not comfortable visiting because of the need for private key. Its also not listed on coinmarketcap but they are carefully developing the project. They even had released an app already on google play but this isn't listed yet on bigger exchange.  If they were listed I think the 100K exchange volume could be achieved which was the requirement of coinmarketcap nowadays.

I think that the site team checks coins and tokens for reliability because even with a coinmarketcap the coins are lost because they do not cope with the course changes.

may not have been registered by the developer of the token. I have a token from investment and have not entered marketcap. I think it will take time. not all altcoins that have not entered the marketcap are bad. you should try to figure it out first and learn it and if it is good you can try to invest.

Usually coins that not listed in Coinmarketcap raised smaller amount from hardcap during ICO so they does not enough fund for listed in Coinmarketcap and in big exchange. And this coins will has low volume and just become pump dump coin. So the community also difficult to grow the demand can not increasing by continuously.

Try to do some research first if the project is okay and if the team is active you can also check if there are people talk about it and if they also trust that certain coin. But to be safe better invest your money to coins that are trusted.

Case 1: It coin is news coin listed in exchange and not enough time to discuss with Coinmarketcap to listed it.
Case 2: As i know, Coinmarketcap require the coin want to be listed in our website need the volume than more 100 thousand dollar

A list in marketcap usually has a positive impact on price and volume and anyone can ask for a listing in marketcap. The only thing is that a coin or token requires a specific turnaround in one of the exchanges recognized by marketcap

Anyone can request a listing on CMC. The only thing is that the coin or token needs a specific turnover on one of the exchanges that are recognized by CMC. A listing on CMC normally has a positive impact on price and volume.
You can only request a listing on CMC as long as you meet their terms and conditions and as long as the volume on the exchange is low for those coins, forget it. However, it is not about the listing on coinmarketcap that makes a coin or token good.

So many coins that ended up being launched at moments like this can get beaten badly which results them to having a low volume, and that is why they are not showing on CMC, but I would be careful to check those coins if I were OP, before ending up with shit coins.
