Not all tokens can be listed on coinmarketcap. I think coins can't just be listed it takes some procedures to it.  And when it's not there it doesn't mean its not good

I noticed a lots of coin on exchange site which are not listed on coinmarketcap. Should I buy those coin/token?
I think this is not the best option. Only unless the coin is new and prospective, and has not yet appeared there

coins that have not been registered in coinmarketcap mean the purchasing volume of the coin is still low. if you want to invest better that already registered in coinmarketcap because you can see where the coins can be in perjual traded. and monitor the chart of the coin

only if you know the project and you consider if they are good, there are certain tokens that, because they are very recent, do not appear in the coinmarketcap but they are excellent projects where you can invest in the future.

in order for the coin to appear on coinmarketcap, it is necessary that the volume of trading reaches 10 thousand dollars per day. Only then the coin will be added to this resource.

It takes some time for the unknown coin to appear in the list. Then, as the exchanges will be added, the coin will undoubtedly appear and there in coinmarketcap

Not everything will be listed on Coinmarketcap, they have a minimum daily volume level for coins and also I believe there are rules in place for adding exchanges also.  I have a few that are not listed on there and it does not mean that they are good or bad, it just means they haven't yet been picked up so there may be some gems in those you find.

Honestly, I have never bought coins that are not on the coinmarketcap, but I would say that this is rather risky, because the list includes mostly promising coins.

If you are an experienced trader then I think that you can try. But beginners definitely should not buy unpopular coins.

If they have a working product and an active community than yeah it should be fine investing in that coin, but if it lacks any one of them than I wouldn't recommend you to invest in those coins as than not being listed on coinmarketcap might be a red flag.

CMC pulls data from exchanges, i think sometimes there is errors in-between somehow

There can be coins that would show market caps above 1 million but they are not technically listed

Sometimes if you search for the coin in the search bar and hit enter it will still show the coin but have a ? under marketcap

Even if the ajax doesn't populate the coin you are searching for it doesn't mean CMC doesn't have it cataloged

Is there any site to know where the new coins/tokens will be on any exchange websites since some of the coins/tokens will not be listed on sites like coinmarketcap. I know that ethereum based coins/tokens are only listed in etherdelta.com.

Remember when Britney Spears shaved her head? Remember when Barry bonds broke the home run record? Historic events like these don’t happen very often. The next big thing in the crypto world is going to be mtc (also known as marinecoin). MTC originates from 2013 and is making a strong comeback with a proof of promotion distribution. This ICO is going to be free. Yes 100 percent free no strings attached. Marinecoin is an extremely fast coin that is eco- friendly and dev=less. mtc will be controlled by artificial intellgience and will be a real force in the crypto markets in the future. Do not miss your chance. This community coin will be built with a fair distribution which will give it value. mtc will be self sustaining and dev-less.

I think that if you decided to make an advertising coin so it was necessary to create a separate topic, and not write here.
coinmarketcap are coins that have already completed the ICO.

Because some of that coin don't meet the requirements of Coinmarketcap's Term and conditions. You still buy this coin/token and update information form that coin's website or other source
coinmarketcap will list a coin to their site if the developer has sent details about their coin, I think all coin can be listing at coinmarketcap
if the developer want to send details to the coinmarketcap.

It is necessary to check by their own rules or to look at the situation of one or another coin / token. Most importantly look at the characteristics of these aspects.

Coins may not be quoted due to the fact that they arose recently. In order to determine whether you need to buy them or not, you need to consider each coin and project that is behind it

that does not matter if coin is listed on CMC or not .
bcoz some newly launched ico list coin on CMC after good volume , like next exchange token not listed on coinmarketcap

only thing you need to do check the project , team and reputation of project in market .

To be listed on coinmarketcap,  coins should surpass 100 k usd  daily volume. This is a requirement. But if volume don't exceed this level, it doesn't mean that you should avoid such project
