How long will this bear market continue?

There was strong uptrend last year in the market. That's why personally I expect that now this bearish market will continue as long as uptrend was in last year and Bitcoin will continue to fall and the market will follow it. So Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies will fall by the end of May 2019. I think that in June of 2019 will happen reversal. But the market and all cryptocurrencies will update their ATH only in 2020. That's why I think the market need about 2 years to fully recovery.

Nobody can say for sure when this crypto currency collapse ends , you can hold , holding is indeed good move whenever you are trapped in a certain coin,wait for the market to go bullrun so that you could have your nvestment back . Trully believe that it will end soon and market will go up  . I'm holding and waiting

No one can have the correct reply about it as there are many news floating in the market and no one knows the final outcome of those and their effect on this market. If any positive comes from that then we will see a big jump and if negative outcome then it goes to vice-versa direction.

Wow, 16 months is cool! Although remember how we waited for the Chinese New Year, then the spring, then the G20 summit ...... in general, I concluded that one does not have to strongly believe the predictions and forecasts

Some people say that the market will rise again in 2020 and we will not able to see green market in 2018 or 2019. But I think those predictions are not accurate always as it is very hard to predict the market.

Precisely! How many hopes there were, and the Chinese new year, and crypto spring, and the summit, and in the end nothing obvious happened ((I do not know yet when there will be growth.. But all forecasts and assumptions did not come true. The race will happen abruptly, and no one foresees it!

well it's already end of august and this never ending bear market is still here. bitcoin etf proposal rejection few weeks ago make it worse. let's hope everything is getting better in the end of the year

Dont panic budd..we just must stay to hold this year..wait untill next year i think bitcoin price and other cryptocoin will back grow up..just stay to hold..or you will lose your balance if you sell now at blood bath market condition

I am very sad that i did not sell all my coins in January. This bear market ruining my nerves and my deposit. The last way what i can do now is holding. Because i have very big loses and do not want to sell my coins at such low prices. Maybe new bull market will be in 2019 or 2020 years.

Nobody knows, but I guess the bear market will be over soon. Even now we can see some positive trends on the market that can be a signal about the market reversal. I hope the SEC will accept CBOE ETF on September 30. This could be a great start for the bull rally in the next few months.

It is not surprising that such a large-scale event has not passed within a month. We need more time here and I believe that next year it will come.

Frankly speaking we can only predict that market will get bullish momentum but exactly we can not say when bearish trend will be over. I am also like you I am holder of many altcoins & their value has been dropped too much this year till date but now If I sell my holdings in loss that will be a foolish decision so I am continue to holding my coins because I know one day patience will pay off at later stage.
