Other than the fact I don't think your suggestion is true there are many reasons, it's a densely populated place. I'm fairly sure that most ICOs and developers etc come from Russia but I could be wrong in that assumption. I doubt there are any official statistics on this.

I think this is due to the fact that India has an enormous unemployment rate. The citizens of India are looking for an outlet in remote computer work. It is this kind of activity that provides a normal income and gives you the opportunity to find a job. Programming is the salvation of youth. Sometimes this is the only way out to provide for yourself. Crypto currency is now a gold mine in the information world. That's why people who can not find a job choose this sphere. This is an autonomous, remote work with the possibility of a good earning.

That's a fair point, but there are more Chinese than that and they are not really famous for creating ICOs. Well, actually I didn't know Indians were, but we could give it a thought and try to explain the fact. Cryptocurrencies are not considered to be legal means of payment and are not officially regulated yet. IndianEconomy.net is saying that bitcoin is a bubble and that investments in cryptos can burst anytime. Moreover, there's an article about icos only starting to appear in India in October 2017. All this is only speaking in favor of the information about icos being mostly Indian being false.

Nice topic buddy, as we know the most progressive and favorable to ICO and ICO jurisdictions today are Singapore, Hong Kong, Switzerland, the United States and Scotland. The registration procedure for obtaining legal entity status for ICO and tax laws in these countries is the most profitable for blocking companies.

On the other hand, we can't say that most creator of ICO are coming from India because there is no proof of evidence that we can conclude. Although, there are some speculations but we still need some real evidence. Moreover, I think Indians were so good in terms of innovating things so probably there is a chance that they are part of some of it.

Because cryptocurrency is popular in India and the rest of Asia. Have you ever tried sending money between Europe/USA and India? It's almost impossible without extremely high fees. Cryptocurrencies allow these entrepreneurs to essentially bypass the input/output limit that their banks force on them. In my experience, most ICOs are from low economically developed countries as their governments usually inhibit growth, this is a way to escape that dulling pressure.

Well believe it or not even though India is a country that is not that rich in general, they are quite inclined to technological advancements, and that is why India is one of the countries leading in BPO industry and the production industry. I also I agree with some replies pointing to the sheer number of people in India, being one of the countries with the biggest populations in the world. I think people there being tech savvy plus wanting to find a way to improve themselves are looking for cryptocurrency ventures, specifically ICOs to meet their objectives.

This is not quite true.  Yes, in India there are many people who create ICO, and those who work on them.  But if you are not focused on this country, you will see that other countries are also working in this direction.  We are waiting for all good, successful projects.  India is a huge country with a very large population, and we see them more often.

Well, it's your opinion so I respect it. But according to what I've noticed, ICO's team is usually composed of people coming from the European and Western countries. Well, this is not a constant happening so maybe I'm wrong too .

Anyway, it's no surprising that there are Indians in the devs team of a particular ICO. Indians are good in programming as well as engineering, no doubt about it. The problem is they are just underrated by other countries because they came from the Third World and may also because of their weird culture/way of life.

I may be wrong but as I know the reason that there are so many programmers in India is that there was a time when America decided to find more work force(programmers can work remotely) so many companies started to teach programmers there because their salary is not as high as American ones and it is more profitable

I think this is a good trend, which means that many ICO teams are international. I find that usually a real ICO project team has people from India, China, Russia.
