What is a good amount to start with when investing into crypto?
I see lots of posts about “I have $100 / $200, what should I buy” and most of the time the answers are with that amount just invest in an ICO etc etc.
I would be interested to know what people here consider a good starting amount to invest...and I know the basics of not investing more than you can afford to loose but for arguements sake, what’s a good number to start with?
I’m not so much interested from a whale perspective of investing like $500k or $1mill, more so the normal everyday average joe male/female investor who wants to dabble in the crypto market. Would it be $1k, $2k, $5k, $10k, $20k etc? People new to the game or interested to start investing in this space may find this useful so they know a rough number which would be a good starting point before turning that into riches (the obvious dream).
For reference I initially started with about $3k (it’s not loads but it was a start) and over time I’ve added more and more (it gets addicting) into the pot as and when I have the money to spend and when the time seems good to buy.

investing is a very important concept for human life. First of all, you have to know the presentation. factors such as your income, your life style, your risk taking status are invested. so you decide best how much you need to invest. but whatever it is, take care of the risk you risk taking. and never trust a single investment objective.

Today if you want to keep and hold as many coins or token as you can then $200-$500 dollars as capital to buy coins is the most ideal and buy coins from ICO with discounts so you could buy more.

According to my calculations, it is ideal to enter with a deposit of 10 thousand dollars. Then you can safely invest in several good ICO for several thousand dollars and it will bring you from 10x to 50x in six months. The rest of the deposit is to invest in some kind of long-term coins, for about a year, this will bring you another 10x profit.

Only invest what you can afford to loose.
I tell people you can start with as little as $5. There are several ways to purchase cryptocurrency at minimum values. The biggest thing is only investing what you can afford to loose. Most people getting into the scene are not doing this even though it's stated endlessly. I would suggest finding a project you really believe in and invest what you can afford to loose and continue to do that over a period of a year. You can't go wrong with getting into Bitcoin, Ethereum or NEO.
If you believe in the technology (blockchain) and invest in the protocols (Bitcoin, Ethereum, NEO) and promote and support the tokens you will succeed in this industry.
I personally started with $500 as that is what I was comfortable with losing. I put in more capital every week and have been doing that for the last year. I also invest capital at certain points in the market that I repay at certain bench marks.

With different vision, It will all depend on the time and the project you choose, but in general in my opinion $ 500 is a good amount to start in a promising currency and at least double your money you can do it, or depending on your style hold the investment for 6 months and even win 10x on top of your investment, is an option.

With $100 it is kind of hard to invest in an ICO, since many of them have a limit for a minimum investment that is higher than that. Instead, this is a good kind of money to buy a great famous coin and just wait for a year or so. Investing less than that might be fun and even somewhat rewarding, but I don't think it will make any difference in anyone's life if we really analyze it. $3k is definitely a kind of sum that could make one's life different. If you get lucky and get a 10x profit, you can buy a flat in an inexpensive country or pay for an MA degree in some good university (not in the US, though).

That is enough to get some coins on here. Most coins that are in this forum is worth about a dollar or less.

Good amount would be the the amount you can afford to lose, because cryptocurrencies has a high market volatility and you shouldnt be risking money that could take half of your life, always invest with the amount that you can afford to lose.Never go all in because in just one bad move you could lose everything that you have,so do not risk it all.

There is no good amount to invest, all depends on your plans and ambitions, if you want to make it big, invest big,and take high risks. investment also depends on your capability and capacity, you only invest what you have

As they say, invest only with free money, which you are ready to lose, in case of loss, then not to remain with a minus and debts

If you are new to investing (n cryptocurrencies) then I would suggest a small amount. For the rest: It all depends on the amount you are prepared to lose. Don't invest with money you can't spare.

Any amount is good for a start, but you have to keep add it when you have any spare money to maximize your profit later. The problem is,do you have the patience to wait when everything goes red? Many people lose to the temptation to cutloss their investment because they believe they have no hope when market is falling.

The answer is simple, you should invest the amount that you allow yourself to lose.

What is a good amount to start with when investing into crypto?
Perfect amount to invest in crypto is as much as you are prepared to lose. Never invest more. Since if you do you might get deeply disappointed. Oh any never invest someones else money. Ever. Not even hold coins for friends. I read a lot of bad stories when people were buying coins for their boss and coworkers and friends and then was hacked and ended up not only without their money but also without job and friends.

You can start with any amount you want to. Many people start off with small investments like that 100-200s because mostly who invest are younger population and if we take closer look those are not the richest people out there in this world. Because they are at the beginning of their carriers. It all comes down to how much money you can out into this gamble and don't care if you lose it all. 3k as you started is still small chunk of money from the perspective of rich people.

You should start with little investments ,do not rush things if you know what you are doing it would you could invest a lot but remember what the experts says, only invest money that you can afford to lose because the market has high volatility and you should be more aware of that, because your investments would be your responsibiity.
