What is a good amount to start with when investing into crypto?

I see lots of posts about “I have $100 / $200, what should I buy” and most of the time the answers are with that amount just invest in an ICO etc etc.

I would be interested to know what people here consider a good starting amount to invest...and I know the basics of not investing more than you can afford to loose but for arguements sake, what’s a good number to start with?

I’m not so much interested from a whale perspective of investing like $500k or $1mill, more so the normal everyday average joe male/female investor who wants to dabble in the crypto market. Would it be $1k, $2k, $5k, $10k, $20k etc? People new to the game or interested to start investing in this space may find this useful so they know a rough number which would be a good starting point before turning  that into riches (the obvious dream).

For reference I initially started with about $3k (it’s not loads but it was a start) and over time I’ve added more and more (it gets addicting) into the pot as and when I have the money to spend and when the time seems good to buy.

A good amount to invest is always about 50% of money you are ready to lose entirely.
Since ICOs are quite risky, you first need to make a cushion

First step first understand about investment in crypto world.
Let's use some small capital to learn about investing. When is the loss, when is the profit.
If everything is correct understand it please use a larger capital scale so that the profit will be greater.

There isn't any good amount. You can invest whatever you can afford and will earn profit accordingly. Regarding whales manipulating the market, whatever you will invest, you are not going to overcome that unless you yourself are a millionaire. So, don't worry about that. You still can trade without getting much affected by whales manipulation. But for that you need to be well versed with technicalities of the market and charts. I would like to prefer you a book called "Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets" by John J. Murphy. Perfect for beginners to learn technical analysis.

The right amount to invest is by adjusting the money we have. Do not be too big to start investing and do not get too passionate. Try slowly so as not to regret if you lose.

It all depends on what you want to get on the output. Any investment is considered normal, it all depends on your capabilities. Someone can safely invest $ 5,000 and someone is afraid to make $ 100

I think that the amount of money to be able to make a good investment is very personal depending on the money you can use and if everything goes very badly that the loss does not affect your economy. There are people who even sold their car or important things just to invest in cryptocurrencies and see a very promising future ahead, but maybe it would not be a good way.

the amounts for investments are different for everyone, for someone $ 100 it's decent money. And someone can invest 100k and not notice their lack of money in their budget.
That it was interesting to invest, and the result was noticeable)
3-5k, I think the minimum capital

Its all a matter of choice depends on the amount you can handle or lose during investment how much profit do you intend to make from your investment i say again invest what you can lose its a gamble.

I'd say if you pick a coin you think its the best with minimal risks or risks you're comfortable with then above 500 or so its a good amount.

everything will depend on you. how much you are willing to invest and how much you will not spare the loss. you also understand that this is a risk when you can go to profit and at the same time lose.

If you have big capital right now then the best option is to invest as much as you have, whether it's $ 10k or $ 1 million, but looking at all the projects I participate in if I want to participate in crypto, start with a small capital, like $ 500.

I think the best decision is to invest money, which you are ready to lose. In my opinion it's crazy when people sell their houses and invest 100% in cryptocurrencies. It's very risky.

I think how much money to invest depends on you, how much profit you want to make and how much you can afford to lose. When you invest you have to consider the worst results so that you can better deal with your investment

My opinion is similar to that of most people. Always try to invest as much as you are ready to lose. There are not any frames for the amount of investments. good luck!

I think plus this market is that you can invest even $ 5 to joke about what an investment is.

In my opinion good amount starts from 500-1000$ at least, if you will invest less - you'll hardly get decent profits.

its all depend on you ? how much profit you want to make and how much lose you can handle ? my advice is just dont invest to something that you cant afford to lose mate.

Yes its depend on how deep is your pocket. For me I think for starter $1k is enough. But still its case to case basis because the biggest your investment the better profit you can get.

The best thing is to create an investment portfolio of several cryptocurrencies. While you are a beginner it is better to choose from the TOP 10 or TOP 20.

an amount which you can afford to lose , if you have the money then skies the limit. Just don't put it in one basket , choose the right investment too.

In my opinion there is no best amount to start with, it all depends on you and your income rate. When I started in crypto I didn't have money to invest so I started doing bounty campaign to gather money. After I was able to gather enough money I bought some good coins especially the ones below ico price and I participated in my first ico last month with 2 ETH.

Now, it is very easy to enter the market - the prices of the cryptocurrencies are very low. Additionally, many penny tokens have appeared. Thus you can start even when you invest about 15-20 dollars.
