Hey everyone! I'd like to thank you all for your patience over this past week. I am happy to announce on behalf of the IOST team that the campaign is being extended until the end of June.

In light of that, there are a few changes going forward that I'd like to go over.

First, payments will be adjusted every week to the USD denominated values of IOST and BTC listed in the original post. I'm sure this will come as a disappointment to some, but keep in mind that price volatility can swing both ways (as we have seen in crypto markets over the past week!).

Additionally, while the team is happy so many of you are eager to help spread the word about IOS, the campaign is being scaled back slightly for this next round. Unfortunately, this means that not everyone who is currently enrolled will continue as part of the campaign. I will announce the updated participant list this Saturday so people have a chance to see this post.

Finally, those of you who were part of the campaign and have since removed your information/applied for other campaigns, please indicate to me whether you would like to be considered for the upcoming round, either by posting here or PMing me.

As before, the campaign is still closed to new participants.

You guys need to pay attention and check the spreadsheet yourself to see if you are part of the extended campaign. MadZ has updated it with a week 5 and some people have been removed (like he said would happen).


 

Would it be correct to assume that the campaign is now back in effect since your last update and we should now be meeting the posting goals?

And also the time after the campaign but before this extension will not be paid because the campaign was over, and only now renewed so the starting date for the new round would be when you posted the update?

I'm assuming week 5 started on Friday as that was the previous campaign schedule.

I am seeing the updated spreadsheet for week 5 including txid, but it is same as for 4th week. Does it mean that I am included in the campaign after shortlisting and the pay for 5th week is nil?

Madz, I respect your decision. I may not be elected. But if I didn't say wrong, 5th week continued  from 5 May to 11 May. Although some posts have been deleted in this interval, there are still 25 posts and i would like you to pay attention to it and count my posts.

I am so happy that the campaign is being extended . This is the best campaign on the forum from a long time.  I was expecting the reduced payment since the price was increasing . But that is totally fine since we will be getting what we were promised in the beginning . I would be very happy to be the part of this campaign again.

Great news everybody, the new and updated spreadsheet is done! Check to see if you were entered into the extended campaign! The amount of people able to participate was made lower because the extension is running off leftover funds in the escrow wallet. WEEK 5 IS STARTED!!!

Incorrect, the campaign was not running during those times, pending further review during the last couple weeks until a few days ago when it was extended. Check the new spreadsheet to see if you were accepted!

Congratulations to those who were selected. The next round will begin Monday (May 21st) and run until the end of June. As before, each round will last for one week, with payment also sent out every week. Payment will be according to the USD values in the main post, with 90% in IOST and 10% in BTC. These values are the equivalent payment rates from when the campaign first started. The exchange rate for IOST and BTC will be determined on payment day as the average of current USD price for each along with the closing prices for the previous 2 days. The reason I am averaging prices is to avoid under/overpaying people in the case of any single day's price volatility. Hope that makes sense. Prices will be taken from Coinmarketcap.

I personally would have preferred a fixed coin amount not dollar equivalents as payment but this works fine too.

I kept it on too for the following week and also did the posts required (in the hopes it will be extended starting with the next week) but since the campaign said it's going to be for 4 weeks only, you can't expect to be paid for it, right?
