There is very less probability of this happening. However, one thin has surprised me for sure. BCH was showing positive returns recently (24 hours period) when all other coins were red (including bitcoins). This is the sign of a good coin and if it continues to show similar behavior in future, I am going to invest some money there as well. So far I had invested mainly in bitcoins and ripple only. In my opinion only ehtereum has the capability to cross bitcoins in future.

I believe the article is just an issue released by either the dev or the community supporting BCH and trying to pump BCH.  I never remove the possibility because cryptocurrency future is still uncertain, and there is chance for other cryptocurrency to take over Bitcoin dominance since the only permanent in this world is change.  But at the current state, it is impossible for BCH to get the lead from bitcoin, ETH is  more contender like in crossing Bitcoin.

Comparing altcoin like BCH with Bitcoin is insult in itself for the king of the crypto currencies and then claiming that altcoin is better than bitcoin shows the lameness and shallow understanding of such a person. I got an airdrop of some BCH after last year's fork, but it took some time for my various wallets to start supporting it (two still do not).

For a fairly long time I noticed that the price ratio of BTC:BCH was about 8.5.  Now BTC is over 10 x the price of BCH.  This is an observation, no judgement or anything.  But, since BTC is becoming more valuable (relatively) than BCH, I wonder if that means anything...

IMO BCH is a joke,a free fork for a coin that's heavily manipulated by their founders,miners and that self-called Bitcoin Jesus Roger Ver.. I'm pretty sure after the last fork, they actually have 32 MB block size. Doesn't mean anything as long as nobody uses it. Feathercoin has 10 MB, I think. Bigger blocks and faster blocktimes were always the arguments of shitcoins. I bet almost every Bitcoin clone out there can theoretically process more TX per second than Bitcoin.

these articles have been being published for a very long time ever since they forked off and these few months have come and gone and BCH is still the same useless coin that nobody even uses since you can see the blocks of it are nearly empty. if it wants to cross bitcoin it first has to be used at least twice as much as bitcoin but so far it is being used 1/100 of bitcoin

Perhaps the article you've read was made by a roger ver d*ckrider or maybe he himself. Really though, for cryptocurrency adoption, growth is exponential not linear. What BCH did was to tackle the problem linearly by just increasing the block size. There will come a time that increasing block sizes won't cope up with the rate of adoption, and that is where BTC triumphs.
