"Google is planning to create its own blockchain and offer cloud and transactional services through it."

Source - https://www.ccn.com/google-will-create-its-own-blockchain-in-the-future/

Regardless if you like google or not, I think this is amazing news. Blockchain is truly the future and I can't wait to see its future adaptations and uses.

But I think this will certainly kill a lot of platforms and coins. Thoughts?

Blockchain is an amazing invention and the technology will have much more applications in the near future than its current use.
I think its good that big companies like Google and Alibaba are investing in this now, but that will also put some high profile competition for already existing cryptos if they started off their own.

I think blockchain really is the future and we'll see more companies and organizations adopting it in all fields of work. Excited to see what this brings

This is another FUD,probably the market will fail again after these big players has sold of their coins that they have bought from the bloodbaths. No shitty false news,it is another unverified news from unreliable source! CCN really ? it is like the most corrupt news website that is getting paid from these FUD and big players to create a hype or panic in the market.

Google on the one hand prohibits the advertisements of the ICO, on the other side enters the blockchain sector. I do not want to criminalize Google, I think it's a very good news for the sector, but this colossus should be more coherent

Maybe this will add a positive spin to the negative narrative the SEC is pushing. But at the same time, Google is banning crypto ads, so go figure.
[/quote]

I know someone doing work on an ICO and he says Google is directly helping the company manage their advertising efforts on Google.

Why do you think Google blocks ads because they don't want to breed competitors?I believe that even at this stage of crypto industry formation there are already quite a lot of different start-up projects .But who are they to compare them to Google? And the main reason is the shadow of fraud formed around the Ico.Perhaps Google doesn't want to continue when a huge amount of fail and lose investors ' money,he said, but you're touting...why not followed...plus all sorts of local laws that currently impede legally conduct Ico

This is good news, it shows that we are slowly and surely moving towards a blockchain era, slowly all big companies will move and upgrade to blockchain technology.

Well, it was inevitable that the big ones started to move: the media campaign we saw in January has served just to lower prices and get them into the game with the lowest possible cost. We will see what they will propose exactly.

I would say that is a funny news. once they are going to ban Crypto advertisements, now they are planning to create their own blockchain. if it's true, yes, it will kill some coins because google has the source to increase its own coin and engage many investor to it. but I need more reference to convince myself that it is true. on the other side, it will overthrow their own reputation, because this move will be considered kind of monopoly due to the stretch of their source.

“Like many new technologies, we have individuals in various teams exploring potential uses of blockchain but it’s way too early for us to speculate about any possible uses or plans,” a Google spokesman said.

If this is real, there will be a big "gamechange" around cryptos world. Google and Alibaba are giants with billions to invest. I hope that from this everyone will benefit even a little

Definitely really cool to see crypt become more and more prevalent. Google has been useful to us for so long already, I am keen to see what benefits this brings.

Where just recently I read that they are going to ban advertising ICO and then such interesting news Smiley I'll keep an eye on it interestingly what happens. Thanks to the author.
I agree it looks all very sketchy to me. Although it is logical that google wants in on blockchain technology.

The new trend today is blockchain. Many companies are interested to this because they believe that many people are involve in blockchain. It is also good news that these two giant companies may develop their own blockchain. Let us just wait what will happen.

I doubt alibaba would bother. They are industry giants in commerce and their cloud center operations are yet to penetrate western countries or let alone break even Why would they bother with blockchains is beyond me. Blockchains are quite inefficient at scaling and utilizing resources. Google has also beena voiding bitcoin and crypto like the plague. I don't know what bloomberg is on.
