Do you continue hodling or sell? A lot of people say to hold no matter what happens and I'm not advocating daytrading but I think in a situation like this, it'd be advantageous to sell.

Thoughts? What would you do?

I think everyone sell right away if they knows that they have already a profit and that is also the intention of the investors and the traders to get a profit from their investment even me that is also my move to sell right away because in just 24 hours  you gain 40%-200%. that is a time that we wait to gain double or more than that.

A singular concurrence would not be applicable to every such scenario. Depending on the market situation and the coin you hold, you should take a call accordingly. For prudence in hodling or otherwise is unique to the situation.

With 200% growth I will just sell it. There is lot of manipulation being done these days and thus better to make use of these opportunities.

In such conditions, I will wait for few hours and then sell but greater risk lies here as this coin may go more higher in the coming days or just falls next day. So, one should be very wise and ready for this step as either it will make you rich or curse you upon your decision if coins shoots up more.

I won't sell them all or keep them all. I'll sell the tokens in my hands in batches. It won't necessarily get the most profit, but it must be the most robust way.

Well it depends on individual's situation as of now if it happens with the coins I am holding I will sell them off straight away and then invest a part of it into promising ICO or Altcoin as too much of greed is not good.

I had similar experience with ripple, Cardano and bytecoin as I become bit greedy to earn more profit I needed up losing the profit due to recent downfall of altcoins so I will sell all the altcoins if the value increased except bitcoin and ethreum as these are most trustable coins.

I guess it depends on the situation at that time, if the situation is in favor and no financial difficulties, I will keep doing hold up to the target price I have set

Facing this condition, I'll soon sell my coins to take profit. It is done to minimize possible risk. When there is a sharp or strong price increase within a short time let say overnight, it will be usually followed by price retracement/price drop. That is why I should sell them as soon as possible to maximize my profit.

certainly what I do when I see the benefits that will be in the can. I will immediately sell it with a 40% to 200% profit presentation. I will not think of anything else like wait until the percentage goes up. and I will sell right then and there.

In such situation I would have sold a half of coins/tokens and make new BUY orders immediately (at -50% price). Don't be greedy!

It really depends what i think it will happen in the future with the coin.
But ussually after an increase of over 100% i sell of part of my coins, and buy back after as it probably was just a pump and dump.

Well, 200% from 40% overnight is unusual situation. If you are aiming a lot of money, holding won't be bad. Again, it might turn into a big risk. My heart says hold but my brain says sell it buddy. And my cunning self says, sell most of it, hold some.

That opportunity comes one in a million mate! I will definitely sell my coins immediately. That was a clear profit! Remember, there is always ups and downs in the market so you better grab an opportunity to sell those when it increases the price, specially when it reaches 200%. That was a great time to get your funds reserve to buy back the coins when it drops the price. Imagine how your coins will get multiply.

Of course the sold would be realizing that this pump is caused by temporary events and the subsequent price movement will definitely down. Moreover, such situations are very rare and exceptional.

I think that should take advantage of this situation to market and sell 50% of crypts, so you go + and you will have a tool auction. Because the coin can jump even higher. Well, if it falls, then you do not risk anything, as repaid all losses.

Get my initial investment back first and then hodl the rest of the coins as they are going to be nothing but pure net profit. Then even if the coin goes to zero I wouldn't have to worry too much as I have already got my invested money back. Also now you can hodl the remaining coins for longer period of time and don't have to panic on price drops.

Personally, I would record part of the profits. If the coin has a probability of growth for the future, then a part of the coins should be left. And in the future this part of the coins can be sold, even more profit. Part of the profits must always be fixed. Otherwise, it may happen that the coin collapses and you do not earn anything at all.

Most probably, I might sell it if it increased in 200% at least in value overnight. Less than that, I probably won't. But let me qualify my answer first. If before the strong pump, there was an even harder dump, I will not mind the big growth overnight. There will be more of it in the next hours. But take note of the price also. If it starts dumping, then you better sell. If the reason for the pump is a very obvious, huge, and very popular real news about huge partnership, then I might not sell immediately. It is better to wait for the price to start showing signs that it will go down already.

Well for me if that happens, i act quickly and sell my coins because this is the chance i have waiting for to earned good profit.
In a bearish market like we had right now, it's a seldom to happen a 100% to 200% increase in overnight value. Which is a good idea to grab that opportunity to sell your coins before it goes down as many people will do that strategy to gain profits in a bearish situation. Most likely you need to place your sell order quickly before it's too late and then you can wait at near bottom to buy back again. A 100% in overnight is a big profit in cryptocurrency.

if i am on that situation i would suggest to sell 50% ofcmy coin and if on the next day it increase again i will sell another 50% of the remaining with a quick price surge expect that there is also a major correction so if that happen i can buy back to a more lower price. thats only my opinion i know it hard if you are already in that sitaution. but selling a portion of your hold can secure your profit
