For me, it can happen, but the percentage on digital money equal to a cashless society is very meager. We all know that there is only a few establishments that are accepting bitcoin comparing to that establishment and companies that are accepting bitcoin as payment. Also, the acceptance of bitcoin is still meager even it is accessible and expensive. Maybe in the future, digital money is equal to cashless society if bitcoin and another cryptocurrency become legal and the acceptance grow.  Smiley
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

In our country, digital money has a good move overtaking the traditional way, though cryptocurrency is not legal the good thing is it is not also illegal. And now many are already aware of it and transaction through this is growing.

Today I paid all my monthly bills online/via internet.  Smiley

It is said now China is a cashless society. Use of debit and credit cards in shops/stores, online pay bills, shopping online.

Money earned from the internet is known as digital/electronic money. People who earn money from the internet, they get paid money in electronic form by payment processors such as skrill, perfectmoney, alipay, paypal, bank-wire transfers because online workers are worldwide.

Last month, I got $20 from online surveys. The money was sent to my bank account via online payment processor. Now if I buy 2 shirts using debit cards at offline or online stores, there is no cash involved but I have 2 shirts.

Bitcoin is a part of digital money. How is digital money is your country ??

china and philippines has the same society but not so cashless. we use debit and credit card but not as china we also use our traditional currency to some markets that dont have internet or computers that use in cards.
bitcoin or all digital money in our country is very popular this days because they use it to earn money in trading ro exchangers.

Digital money is the future and the concept of Bitcoin is also the same and slowly and steadily digital money is acquiring or replacing paper currency in the world. The best part of digital money is crypto currencies and this crypto is going to change the world economy in to a cashless society soon. The concept of Bitcoin is success in digital world.

If this is true about China, then it's cool, I would like to have it in my country like in China. Paper money is an outdated way of shopping.
It has been happening in most of the developed countries and developing ones.
Most places are gradually becoming cashless with the help of the internet, most banks now have their own applications which you can easily do transactions, you can easily pay for goods with your ATM or transfer and stuffs like that.

I personally hardly carry cash on me most times simply because I always end up not using it for a very long time. Cryptocurrency will really make it even more interesting as we forge ahead.

Digital crypto currency is inherently non-cash money. Non-cash regular money and crypto currency will gradually displace cash. However, this technique is very long. Undoubtedly, in the very far away future we will come to a absolutely cashless society. However, with our existence with you this is not likely to happen. I assume cashless society is vulnerable in many ways. You do not have something to alternate if you ever go outside of the web range. If you've got ever travelled you understand how easy it is to get into a blind spot where your cellphone would not work. And in such spot your web won't work too. They won't have card terminals and you may not be able to buy fuel for your machine or a bottle of water. It's too early to strive to stay in a cashless society.

The cashless society is good for the country it will reduce the corruption. But digital money(cryptocurrency) again it will increase the corruption rate so both are same.

To make cashless society is no easy, only educated people can understand this digital currency what about uneducated? how can we teach them? it's not an easy process takes years.
Cashless Society will not reduce corruption, it will only make it easier to do so.

In my country, people who are using digital money to buy goods and services online, still can't be compared to other countries whose technology is far more superior than us. But even so,  not going into a fully cashless society is better and I want both physical and digital money to go hand and hand with each other.

This is a phenomenon that can not be abandoned, when everyone is very enthusiastic and get a lot of profit it is still a lot of people who are difficult to earn income, this is certainly because of education because they do not understand with the internet.

China is a cashless society yet because of them being able to move money in this way of not having a trace of where the money is coming from. They were able to put money from the illicit drug trafficking trade into other things like overseas property, casinos and shell corporations to hide where these funds actually came from.
Then the collaboration from the government and the law enforcement agency combined and Fintrac was born.
To combat against money laundering in this cashless society. Embarrassed

Having a cashless society i think it would really help the people for my opinion though , it will reduce not just corruption but the hassle , and it would be easier , and also sooner or later this would happen on the near future. As you can see now its just only the beginning. And well the purpose or one of the concept of bitcoin is this to be a cashless society , digital money.

I think people without money are good, but it will never happen in my country, in my country prefer to use cash instead of digital money. In my country few know about digital money, let alone government in my country prohibit the use of digital money as a legitimate payment transaction, so digital currency in my country can only be used by people who only know about digital money.

Our country isn't ready for a cashless society because there are still many people who suffers poverty who can't afford internet and device or gadgets that can access the internet. Instead they buy it for they're daily necessities like food, clothing and bills.
The same case is in my country because there are no credit cards with all the people, because the banks do not issue credit cards to its holders. They can only issue debit cards. The other reason is that many people still do not know what is bitcoin and digital currency and that’s why they don’t invest their money in cryptocurrency. It will take more time to enjoy cashless society.
Well I don’t think there is any country who is not aware of bitcoin as I know bitcoin is very famous and well developed currency now and almost every country is supposed to legalize it some have done this job and some are waiting for this technology to be improves a little more  in their place, I want to see bitcoin as currency of the country and I want to use bitcoin instead of cash because I can see bitcoin is easy to sue and  bitcoin has more profit than the cash, I really wane breath in a cashless society.

That is very possible in the future if only those countries who are not banning the cryptocurencies will perhaps and finally embrace the technology for good. Only then we can see not only a cashless society but a cashless world.

An innovative society will be a seed of change for rest of the world. Even crypto banned country people also may make cashless society when they do prefer P2P mode of transactions. This would will definitely adopt cryptos as there is no other better technology is avaible to them as of now.

Bitcoin is pushing us further into a cashless society and it will not be much longer until people are no longer using cash and everything is being done and paid for electronically.
I like the word pushing us further. It is not like the cashless society is not already in place in most countries, and it is apparent that you can easily make transactions locally without having to carry cash around these days. The ushering in of the digital currencies will even make this faster as we get to see more people adopting digital currencies as it helps in making transactions easily, not just locally but globally without stress.

A cashless society is inevitable and the days of fiat are numbered.
World always move toward betterment the progress may be slow but it will happen for sure. Fiats may exist in a cashless society but as a collectible:P

Even if the society will start using cryptocurrency more often, it will never get rid of cash and fiat money. There are too many small merchants and private sellers that use the only paper money, and elderly people also do not understand crypto.

I do not think that digital money can replace ordinary fiat and cash. They simply have different functions. I do not think that the cash will ever disappear completely. I also do not think that there will ever be a completely cashless society. We can only use cash less.

I think paper money will never come to an end, and if so it will take a long time because many people do not trust in digital currency. The reason is that it is not safe. I mean that one has no control over his digital wallet. If tomorrow the internet stop to any reason all the wallet will be closed and then nobody can claim his money. That’s why most people do not want to invest in digital currency.
It depends, in some countries people almost have gotten rid of their cash and they use mostly digital currencies, but there are some other countries in which cash is still used widely as a form of exchanging value, even if I like bitcoin and I think it brings a lot of advantages I still do not like the idea of having a world that only works with cryptocurrencies, that is why I also like some traditional currencies like gold and silver, but I do not like fiat at all because it is a way to deceive people and steal wealth from them without them realizing it.

Cashless society is really a good idea but the only problem is the countries that is not capable of handling a huge number because not every country is rich enough to have bitcoins running in their area.
