All of these attempts are only temporary solutions, but they also create new problems, which are exacerbating an already unsettling situation. Only at this stage family members are deciding to seek the professional help!

That is why it is known to be an addiction. But I don’t understand one thing here which is that why you continued to play when you knew there are very little or no chances of winning. That is because people are greedy and they are always in false hope as to when they are going to win. They are just within the darkness in the hope of winning something that will compensate the loss. And even if they win, they will take the risk again because they won. So why not play again. Who knows?
