Newbie here... I've been thinking about buying my first crypto. I think I want to buy ETH, but wondering if I missed the boat already?

Primarily I'm choosing ETH because I think there are less foreseeable limitations than BTC, and it seems like ETH is basically accepted everywhere BTC is. Plus its cheaper

It is absolutely fantastic to see all these low prices in quality altcoin including ethereum. For those that missed the rally, this present market condition provides fresh opportunity again to take nice position in ethereum against next bull run.

Why ETH price must grow? What are the prerequisites? The market is bearish, ICO hype is going down, and a lot of good ICOs starts on other blockchains. A lot of ICOs who got money in ETH in december a going to sell their ETH cause they need cash. I thing we'll see ETH about 300$. But ETH developers are doing good and in the end of the year price can go ATH.

The boat has yet not left the shore and you can still ride on boat to journey of profits but only by grabbing the oppurtunity now and investing in ETH.It is most profitable alt after btc and has great potential,developed technology and platform for most of the coins which show a great future for ETH holders.So definitely invest the amount you can afford.

According To my knowledge its good time to purchase. May be not for you, if you don’t know or don’t have basic knowledge. I just mean it don’t take risk depending on other comment. Analyze the market according to your knowledge than take the risk. Or you can share your opinion like this process what helps to analyses. I always analyze before purchase the bitcoin. If you have any doubt to buy don’t buy its will not good for you or you can buy small portion. According to my research every investor want to buy Bitcoin at the time of low price for the purpose of great selling. So don’t be confuse. no matter how much I think about eth, but it still remains at one core where eth for me only serves as a gas / transaction fee, so I decided not to collect too much and stay focused on other coins for daily profit fluctuations, it does not look simple because eth market movements are the most severe to date, there is no good timing to buy eth unless bitcoins skyrocket again.

Seeing by the statistics, Ethereum has seen a drop in its prices in the last month. So, according to me, as ETH is as its low at the moment, it is a good time to invest in it.

Volatility has been a part of the coin and by holding the coin we can make huge amount of profit from it. Also the coin provides a good platform for posting new ICOs. Its idea of smart ledger contracts is also quite revolutionary. It is also secure for making transactions. The coin is also quite liquid and flexible in the market and is more widely accepted.

Exactly this time is perfect to buy and just patiently hold until price goes up. I don't think eth price will go down to 300$/plus. On my part already hold some when it hits 500$. I just hold this until my profit will be 50%.

In my opinion, now is a very good time to buy ETH as it now costs very little, but after a while it will go up in price and then you can get a good profit.

Yes, it's a reasonably good time to buy ETH. Ethereum has been declining more and more lately,
with the current purchasing price it's on, it would turn into a very valuable and profitable investment
once ETH recovers and increases in the future. Some might even take the chance to wait a bit longer,
having reason to believe with full confidence that ETH will go even lower. Maybe that's a good strategy,
but dips are never quite what they seem since ETH is also struggling and prices change without notice
or warnings all the time. Despite this intriguing price drop opportunity, I however would advise to not
totally put everything in with ETH, invest also in Bitcoins. Since we are in a dip unfortunately, BTC is a
more capable currency with an exceptional capacity of returning, recovering and even doubling the
price when it spikes up.

Ethereum is on the decline. thus Ethereum will be a fairly affordable price. with such a price provides a pretty good profit opportunity going forward. my estimate of Ethereum would be a pretty expensive price.

Anytime anyone is buying when there is already a huge decline is always a good buy as long as he is trying to hold for the future. Waiting for more declines may result into ending up wasting a good opportunity. ETH has really bottomed out hugely to the previous low where it started the change in trend to the positive side last year, so I do not see how now, is a bad spot to start holding up.

I still wonder why a lot of people are looking to pick ETH over BTC. However, it is everyone's decision to make. ETH is back to where it started from before hitting the previous ATH, so I would say, if you are rooting for it, then, you should start targeting now. No one knows the future though, so you can buy some now, and see how things unfold to add more as time goes on.
