Looks Like there is a Serious accusation against Freebitco.in

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5329988.0

Someone is asking for a Lawyer to File case regarding freebitco though i Don't really understand the claim.

I used to deposit to Coinbase all the time and never had any problems. If you analyze Freebitco.in's transactions on the blockchain you will see that many people are sending directly to exchanges. I have never heard of anybody having issues with this.

Thanks friend  Grin that's the answer I was looking for.

I will probably send to my electrum wallet first and then to an exchange just for my peace of mind. Coinbase does have a bullet in their terms of service about blocking customers who deposit/withdrawal to/from gambling sites, which is where my concern is coming from.
Because Coinbase already Knew about the system of abusing happens in the previous years when gambling site was being used as as place to organized Money launderer .

This is the same user who posted the problem in this thread too and TheQuin has already answered https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=320959.16080.

And also again answered here.

hello i sent pm but no reply, i have 0,0017 btc in my free bit co in account but can't access it

You have sent many PMs from 4 different forum accounts and I have answered you in public here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5323816.msg56591036#msg56591036

so you scam me? 0.0017 btc? so bad for you , things will not remain as you think

i have only this account , so i don't know what is your problem and why steal the money i deposit on your website trusting it

That is strongly refuted with proof in your reputation thread. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5325388.msg56614949#msg56614949

I personally would not deposit directly to any site that prohibits gambling in their ToS. Even if they have no history of blocking people they would be within their rights. So why take any risk when you can just withdraw to your own wallet first?

It means I would prefer nothing but satoshi for now. If they do fun tokens that is going to be tough, even 1 fun token worths more than the minimum, but they could make the odds accordingly of course.
Thats why its just a suggestion and still depends on the team's discretion, no hard feelings.

I just agree to the idea because holding fun token on FB has a benefits and if you already own fun its nice if we get additional from the WOF prize.

Funny seeing that thread. Even lawyer will cost him more than amount he tried to cheat on freebitco.in. That's not even called serious thing i think, just someone who angry because of they won't able to cheat again on freebitcoin

The accusation here is about 0.0017 BTC, a lawyer will probably cost more if he takes half an hour to investigate the case. So this is a crude threat to get Freebitco.in to release the coins again. Of course you can try it in the accuser's place, but it won't be successful and only costs time and nerves, especially because TheQuinn had already taken a stand and the accuser knows why the coins were locked.

When someone loses money here (or any business really) they start to keep bothering other people with their problems as well. Back in the very very early days of satoshidice I remember many people claiming that it was rigged and there was pages and pages worth of stuff about it. It was never rigged, only reason why it was considered was that tech people who finally had some money of their own (not meaning rich, just bitcoin being owned by them mostly) started to gamble for the first time.

Now we are still here and still talking about same type of people, who can't realize that you can't cheat the system and then say that you were cheated by the system, eventually you will be figured out and your money will be taken, just either play decently or do not play at all because that is not going to be an easy task to cheat the system and get away with it, no matter how much you cry.

Yes but now people can invest into freebitco.in through FUN tokens, those bloody cheaters aren't only scamming freebitco.in, they are also scamming "investors". I don't know what to do against them and how to cope with that but maybe rules and conditions to claim and to refer should be changed now. That's crazy to read that :

Look how is possible that 2 different pc have same fingerprint? Just because browser?

Obviously not. You must have some severe comprehension difficulties. Look again at the figures you quoted.

Your Fingerprint
Signature   ✔ 154A86F3
Uniqueness   99.99% (96 of 793798 user agents have the same signature)

It is looking at many unique aspects of information that are available from your browser including system information about your device. You have quoted a uniqueness of 96 of 793798. Meaning that there is a probability of 96/793798=0.000120938% of someone else's browser giving the same fingerprint.

So when you tell me that the 2 accounts with the same fingerprint and same referrer are 2 different people there is a 0.000120938% chance that you are telling the truth.

For the 36 accounts with the same fingerprint that you claim to be one of the calculation is this:

0.000120938^36=9.38E-142

ie 0.000....00938 with 142 zeros.

I think it is fair to round that down to there being a 0% chance you are telling the truth.

When you add to that the probability of someone having found 38 referrals who manage to roll 24 times a day every day since they registered being actually 0% you have given the statistical evidence that absolutely damns you beyond all reasonable doubt.

When I first learned about crypto, years ago, freebitco was the very first site that I got acquainted with.
Getting free satoshis and actually withdrawing from them without any deposit.
So it means, they are giving free satoshis to a lot of users for years already.
And accusing this site for that amount of btc? I don't think it is fair to them.
The user himself knew what he did. I hope he will come to his senses and stop bothering people.
Cheap strategy of extracting money from freebitco with the use of a lawyer???

Lawyers arent cheap, theres nothing unique or likely in his actions to succeed especially.   Referring yourself, multi accounting then botting is a signature profile activity easily recognized and represented as a counter argument to any claim of validity.  If there was doubt or a grey area on this then sure perhaps leverage to his legal threats could exist.     The only other aspect to consider would be publicity, oh it looks bad but its recognizable without much effort as just another bot attempt which they probably have dealt with in excess thousands of these cases; you are correct it effects the bottom line profits and viability to the site because there is no real customer revenue occurring here no upside or point to attributing any credibility or leeway.

Not the use of a lawyer, the threat of the use of a lawyer more precisely. Because I don't think he could find one lawyer not laughing at him when he would expose his case, even in Romania(no offense to romanian fellow). Who has one referral user claiming 24 times a day? The average user doesn't even claim 24 times in a month unfortunately. It's sad to learn that from a member registered in 2015 on Bitcointalk (if the account hasn't been bought though)

Today it looks like the most bettors on freebitco.in are rather bearish than bullish regarding Bitcoin price at the end of the month:

How it's going to look in 10 days, when the last bets are accepted?

Considering that we hit a new ATH today, I think we can easily end up with "$70,001 - $80,000" being the most betted-on range. What do you, guys, think?

Today it looks like the most bettors on freebitco.in are rather bearish than bullish regarding Bitcoin price at the end of the month:

How it's going to look in 10 days, when the last bets are accepted?

Considering that we hit a new ATH today, I think we can easily end up with "$70,001 - $80,000" being the most betted-on range. What do you, guys, think?

The prices have been resilient for quite some time now, but I'll reserve my judgement until the final week as we saw a price jump of 2K today Grin

@Betwrong honestly I feel Bitcoin is making a mockery of the terms called undervalued and expensive, because each time we say it’s expensive and it can’t rise further suddenly it rises upwards, and when we end up saying it’s undervalued suddenly it crashes. I also believe this is exactly what going in the mind of Freebitco users, because they’re unable to understand is it expensive or undervalued hence they have become bearish.

I received a free spin email 21 hours ago and when I just now tried to use it, it said the free spin had expired...  Huh Huh
I can confirm this, happened to me few weeks ago as well, but only once so far.
I think it's something with connection to our mailbox providers rather than freebitco itself.
Maybe the box just was in maintenance or something and gave you mails with incorrect timestamps, like the same email twice and you just did not noticed it? That's what I suspect, at least in my case.

Since when "last week in crypto" newsletter is a thing? I just noticed it and I think its awesome Cheesy

Are there any plans for .night mode. for the site?
Gotta keep them devs pressured a bit BTC

I think it is about spending time at a certain place, but bitcoin is obvious a huge gamble when you are trying to predict the price. I like buying it and holding it even at 60k because I know that eventually it will go higher, but here you are either right or you are wrong and if you are wrong all your bet is gone, if you are right you win something big.

This is of course a proof that people wager on whatever price is at the time they wagered, and around those days too, price was under 60k for a very long time so people assumed it would stay like that as well, which obviously is not true because even if bitcoin spends 29 days being under 60k, on 30th day it could be over 70k directly skipping all of 60-70k range. I am not saying it will do that, do not take my word as suggestion, all I am saying is that it is possible for bitcoin to do something like that.
