Faced a weird issue today which I have never encountered before, atleast with freebitco.in.
I got the free WoF spin in my email and when I clicked the captcha it just kept on loading.
It nevere loaded the captcha at all. Has anyone else faced this today ?

Previously someone had complained of the same problem as you, either because of the captcha from hcaptcha or from your browser history, but I think you need to delete all your browser cache and history if needed, but if that doesn't work you might be able to use a private browser to claim it , I still haven't found out what the real problem is, hopefully the team from freebitcoin will see this too

It could also be due to the internet connection but what you have suggested can be tried and hopefully it can solve the problem and as long as the WoF from the email is not more than 48 hours then it can still be claimed, so don't need to worry about WoF

I don't have a problem with the WOF claim maybe for those who experience it because of slow internet the captcha doesn't work well, but I dunno waiting for the freebitcoin team to also look at that, maybe they can give another suggestion, hopefully users don't experience this kind of problem more on freebitcoin

i think in the end maybe the winner need to complete KYC to claim the prize and provide the documents, maybe it's done to prevent multi account users

I have had the same error multiple times or also an error, where it says that this spin is not valid when you click on the link. Just keep refreshing the page and clear your cache/cookies and you are good to go.

Problem with that would be if having to verify an account for any reason, its harder to prove ownership of an account if all the details are not yours vs if it matches your real details which you can prove.  Unfortunately from experience I have lost funds from just having random details entered into an account, I should have remade it with my real data before depositing anything especially.  I didnt lose a fortune but they never let me fully control the account because of that.

The numbers just spin forever on the freeroll and similar errors for the wheel if you have any iffy connection at all.  Start over or even use a different browser but its usually a transit error basically, wait a second/minute then refresh is all I need most of the time.

Weirdly, this doesn't work on me especially when I've been doing a lot of captchas on a day as they keep getting harder to load than usual. Not sure, if this only applies on my situation but those are his options if he ever gets to encounter the same issue again.

I also think it's not a serious problem just a glitch from slow internet , refreshing the browser in a few minutes if the captcha doesn't load or using a private browser, I think it's quite helpful for a while

Then at the same time I opened it in my mobile and fortunately it worked and I was able to spin the WoF spin.
I wonder why it did not work the previous time since I had spin the WoF on mobile previously too.

Since the issue keeps insisting and you have experienced it a second time, I suggest you follow all the suggestions provided on this thread regarding your issue. Clearing the cache on your browser could fix it or probably try re-installing your browser and see if the issue still persists or even try to log-in using other browsers available on your laptop. You can also check lan cable to see if you have any internet issues.

At least, you've identified that the issue might probably on your laptop since it works fine on your phone.

Congrats. It's impressive that all the winners in the last round of the weekly lottery had no more than 8k tickets, and the second and fourth-place winners only had 100 tickets each. Moreover, the first-place winner had roughly the same number of tickets as you, which means that if you had been a little luckier this time, you could have won 0.1 BTC instead of 40k sats.

There's one member here last time who confirms that he won the lottery but he posted a screenshot instead of some text. It's quite refreshing to see that because most of what saw here are only winners from the hourly faucet and they are all newbies so it is sometimes hard to believe if they are real winners or not. 0.0004 btc is not what I consider an irrelevant prize. What more if the price of btc didn't drop?
