There is a chance. In the last couple of months the Russian government was finalizing the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency regulation. They have set all the rules and regulation, what they were lacking was maybe the approval (Im not sure of it). Until now I didnt hear anything from them, i dont know maybe I missed some news about them. Maybe the process will take too long to be approved.

Russia is a powerhouse if this will happen it can change the crypto market followed by other countries ( I hope so) this will benefit us crypto lovers Cheesy if they legalized cryptocurrency ICO, Exchange then that's great! also I read an article that South Korea is planning to legalize ICO too here is the article from Cointelegraph  https://cointelegraph.com/news/south-korea-government-committee-plans-to-make-icos-legal-again
And Belarus officially allowed crypto-currencies. The Belarusians were allowed to exchange tokens, sell and buy for Belarusian rubles, foreign currencies and electronic money.

Belarus today looks like one of the most attractive countries for the crypto community. But in Russia still there is not strict regulation and you can always find ways to survive there.

This is good news, where the Russian government legalizes crypto currency in its country, they believe that by legalizing crypto currency will bring change to the economy in his country. hopefully this becomes a role model for other countries that have not yet recognized the crypto currency.

Russia is waiting for good news for cryptocurrency. In 2018, a bill on the regulation of the crypto currency will be ready and we are rumored that the crypto currency will be legal and taxes will be taken as from trading on the stock market. Let's see how it will be implemented.

I don't know if it's good or bad! as if the state will take in circulation cryptocurrency, you have to pay taxes for the content and sale of cryptocurrency! Still, it will affect the amount that you get! this is done in order to legalize the findings of the money!

I would not say that this is good news, it's probably sad. Crypto currency will only be for the higher community, in Russia it has always been vseravno to their people, they are just looking for where to cash in on money.

I don't think that the Russian government will legalize cryptocurrency, at least in the near future. There is not even a full-fledged law on cryptocurrency yet. As for the Russian cryptocurrency, if it is created it will be completely centralized.

Russia has always shown variety of opinions over cryptos. Finally, after long they have made cryptocurrencies legal in Russia. This is indeed a positive news for the community. I still feel there is some hidden agenda behind this news. But for now when countries are giving mixed stance over Bitcoin, this came as positive wave. There was an increased interest in cryptos from Russia, lately. Many ICO were coming from Russia, hence, this news can bring in more investment from a country with a strict capital control and can give a boost to the volume.

very good news
if connected with other countries. so free-made transactions have legalized crypto. I strongly agree that the Russian state has legalized the manufacture of crypto in their country is very useful to counter all acts of illegal transactions

I lived in Russia and I know only that at any good opportunity the government and the authorities begin to take away everything that only can from citizens who turd and then earned it to themselves! So they want to legalize it, and to make money from it

This news is very good. If Russia passes a new law, where it will be allowed to pay a price for the goods. That is very good. Only then do they tax. This is not very good. All goes as long as it is without taxes.

Legalization of operations with cryptocurrency is a very good idea for people who want to do it legally, and for the state that will receive taxes. But in my opinion, creating your own cryptocurrency will not lead to anything good.
