Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

We all have different approach to even the same idea, that is what make us unique. The approach someone with your idea use in executing the idea cannot be exactly the same thing with yours and so you don't expect exactly the same outcome. If you concentrate more in executing the same idea in a more superior way you will definitely have an edge over the other person.
